A shiver ran through my body at his smirk and the seductive way he saidgirlfriend.

“Okay, I need to get ready.” I kissed his cheek as he finished before moving back into the bedroom to shower and dress for my morning with Sierra.

Lotion rubbed along freshly shaved legs when Mateo walked in. He propped against the doorframe, watching while I finished.

“Shouldn’t you be getting ready too?”

“I can take a minute to admire without it making me late.” He continued inspecting my leggings and flowy tank covering a strappy sports bra. “Not gonna lie, I’m more than a little upset I won’t get to watch you work out in this.”

“Trust me. The children are saving you.”

He huffed, closing the gap between us until his body hovered over mine on the bed.

“You don’t have a clue how sexy you are.”

A heat spread in my belly at his low, heavy voice. “Mateo. Go get dressed.”

He groaned, throwing his head back. I slapped his ass as he turned toward the bathroom.

“Jameson,“ he warned, “don’t start something you can’t finish.”

“I think last night proved I ammorethan capable.”

Before I could blink, he pinned me on the bed, wrists engulfed by his hands above my head. He smiled wickedly before leaving a fiery trail of kisses around my face and down my neck, steering clear of my mouth while still brushing agonizingly slowly around it. His mouth moved over my chest, plucking at my hardened nipples peaking my top. I tried like hell to move my arm, hold him closer like I wanted to but he didn’t budge. He just chuckled at me and shook his head. He led his mouth to my ear and nipped at it, letting his low groan fill my senses. My moans filled the room as his tongue ran up the side of my neck, leaving goosebumps behind.

As quick as he pounced, he was gone. Retreating into the bathroom.

“You’re a real tease, Mr. Linx,” I called out.

His laugh echoed from around the corner. “You’re late.”

Shit. Sierra is going to be extra nosy today.

Sierrastoodbytheentrance of the pilates studio, foot tapping against the concrete. I jogged over and ignored her suggestive stare.

“What news do you bring from Lover Land, my dear? You’re looking extra—“ Her smile grew wide. “My god, you did it!”

I shook her off. “We didn’t. And can’t we talk about your love life every once in a while?” I asked back as we went inside the room filled with a woodsy, lavender scent. “What happened to that one guy? Charles? Trevor? Chaz! What happened to Chaz, Sierra?” My pouty attempt to change the subject had zero effect on her.

“Listen, hot stuff. Nothing matters right now besides this post-orgasm glow you’ve got that was most definitely the work of Mateo Linx.”

Talking a little too loud for the small space, Sierra caught the attention of a trio of women when she practically yelled Mateo’s name.

I gave her a wide-eyed look and nudged my head at the women closing the distance between us. Sierra’s exaggerated eye roll did little to deter their progress.

The head of the triangle looked exactly the way I imagined Barbie would look if she were an actual person. Impossibly thin waist, perky boobs, luscious blonde hair, big blue eyes and perfect lips. The only missing feature was that she wasn’t permanently tiptoeing her way around the studio right now.

“You ladies know Mateo Linx?” she asked.

The sip of water currently clogging my windpipe refused to go any further as the memory of his tongue burned against my skin.

Sierra—not so gracefully—pounded on my back like a beating to the spine would help.

“Professionally,” I lied through coughs.

I reached around and pinched the back of Sierra’s arm before she could speak. I didn’t want these women in my business, plus Sierra’s sassiness sometimes made more enemies than friends.

“Professionally is better than nothing. Although, I’d happily give my left tit to get to know him personally if you know what I mean,” the redhead of the group said.
