“VALENTINO GRECO!” The sudden voice of Felipe roared form outside.
“Is that coming from the back?” I sped over to the window.
“They’re on the fucking beach.” William huffed as he marched toward the back door. “I’m ending this shit now, V.”
“Wait!” Noah chased after him. “Liam, stop!”
William spun around, grabbing his shirt. “I was fucking shot by him! My fiancée was hurt by him when she was carrying—”
“Let him go, Liam.”
William actually liked Noah but his emotions and mind were heightened right now. As much as I had struggled with wanting to trust Noah, I did now. Rolling his eyes, William pushed Noah back, but he did not budge. William’s gaze met mine with a glare.
“He’s been trained for—”
“VALENTINO, I KNOW YOU’RE THERE! I NEED TO TALK TO YOU!”
Pushing past them both, I stomped down the wide hallway toward the voice of my target. “I’m going to murder that mother fucker.”
Noah huffed as he and William followed closely behind. Noah muttered something under his breath about how we were going to die if we did not listen to him. William knew me well enough to know to keep his mouth shut. Felipe was about to meet his end and I was going to enjoy every moment.
“Take out the two people with him.” I ordered as I opened the back door.
Noah sped up, placing himself in front of me. William watched all angles with his weapon ready to fire on anyone. Swallowing hard, I clenched my jaw as my eyes narrowed on the beach. As we got closer, I recognized the one in the middle as Felipe. Gripping the handle of my pistol with both hands, I aimed it at his head over Noah’s shoulder as we inched closer. It was then, I realized they did not see us yet.
“You set all this up, you fucking prick!” I bellowed through the warm night. “Did you think we wouldn’t find out?!”
Felipe started to search for us. “Val—”
“Shut the fuck up!”
The other two men drew their guns and pointed them in all directions.
“I need to speak to you!” Felipe demanded.
“I’m fucking done with you hurting the people I care about.”
“You don’t understand! I’m n—”
“Take them out.” I mumbled.
BANG! BANG!
The men dropped to the beach instantly. Felipe dropped his gun before lifting his hands in the air in a surrender. We moved swiftly toward him.
“What the fuck is he doing?” William uttered under his breath.
“I have no fucking clue.”
This was not the Felipe we knew. It had to be a trick. As we treaded cautiously closer, he took a couple of steps back, never dropping his hand to pull a weapon. People had to be watching us. We had to be surrounded. The closer we got, he tried to speak several more times. Each time he began a sentence, I cut him off.
“You have the—”
Charging him, I yanked his long black jacket toward me as I delivered a powerful blow to the center of his face. Blood splattered from his mouth and nose as he crumbled forward against me. How the fuck did I knock him out in one punch?
Confused I turned to Noah and William who both watched on wide-eyed. Something was off. It was too easy to knock him out. Felipe squirmed in the sand, holding his face, whimpering. Cocking a brow, I massaged my knuckles and drew my foot back, kicking him in the ribs as hard as I could muster.
“God, no!” He cried out.
