“Hi, I’m Molly. Molly Malone. I’m Travis’s…I mean Mr. Covington’s assistant.”

“Nice to meet you, Miss Malone. I’m Dominic. Dominic Westchester.”

“Oh, hi,” I said, holding my hand out.

“So should I get out my laptop, or am I going to take notes? Is this an official meeting?”

I looked over at Travis, who was shaking his head. “Not an official meeting. Dominic and I actually went to boarding school together when we were younger. We’re old friends.”

“Oh, so you’re friends and business associates.”

“Isn’t everyone?” Dominic said with a slight chuckle.

“So Travis, I heard you’re going to be at the party tomorrow.”

“I am. Miss Malone here will be there and her friend, Poppy.”

“And I heard Pascal came with you.” Dominic’s eyes glittered as he stared at Travis.

Travis nodded. “Yeah, she did with her friend Holly.”

“Okay, so what’s that going to be like?”

I pressed my lip together, wondering what he was talking about.

“It’s going to be fine,” Travis said.

“Really? After what happened last time?”

Dominic looked over at me and smiled. “I guess you might not want to talk about this in front of your new assistant.”

“Maybe not,” Travis said, nodding.

“But she’ll be sending the flowers to all your floozies, I mean women, soon enough, though, right?”

Travis chuckled. “Really, Dominic? Are you trying to get me into trouble?”

“How would I be getting you into trouble? Is it not true that you once sent ten bouquets of roses to ten different women, all in the span of one week?”

Travis grinned, and I stared at him in shocked dismay. Had he slept with all ten women in the same week? If so, that was really gross and nasty, and I was definitely going to have to have a conversation about that. Maybe I would actually need to see his results, and maybe he would need to go back to the doctor and get tested again because if he was sleeping with that many people, then…

“I said, would you like some coffee, Molly?”

Travis’s voice interrupted my thoughts, and I blushed lightly.

“Oh, I’m okay. Thanks. I had some with Poppy this morning.”

“Good, good. And did you get any results yet?”

He gave me a meaningful look, and I tried not to roll my eyes.

“Not yet,” I said, smiling at him.

“So what do you do, Dominic?” I turned to his friend.

His friend gave me a wide smile and ran his hands through his hair. It was then that I noticed just how handsome he was with his dark olive skin and brown eyes and dark hair. He was almost as handsome as Travis was.

“A little bit of this and a little bit of that,” he said, chuckling.
