“Hey, baby. You ready to go?” Seb calls out as he lets himself into my apartment.
“I’ll be out in a minute,” I shout back. “I’m just getting dressed.” Seconds later, my bedroom door opens. Turning, I smile as he stands in the doorway. “I’m not ready yet.”
My eyes sweep over him and heat pools in my stomach as I take him in. He’s wearing dark dress pants and a white shirt. The top button is open, and his sleeves are rolled up, putting plenty of his ink on display. There’s dark stubble on his jaw, and his hair is messy.
“You look sexy.”
He chuckles. “So do you, sweetheart.”
I giggle. “I’m not dressed.”
“Exactly.”
Before I can reply, he’s crossed the room and I’m in his arms.
“We’re going to be late,” I mutter as his mouth drops to my neck. Despite that, I tilt my head to give him better access. “You’re staying over tonight, right?” I moan as he bites gently on the skin under my ear before soothing it with his tongue.
“I stay over every night, Tay,” he mumbles against my neck. “And now that I know what’s going to be under your dress…” He trails off and runs his fingers around the elastic of my baby-pink panties. “I’m going to be hard all night.”
My clit pulses at his words. We’ve done nothing more than make out since we officially got together, my period calling the shots. It’s finished now, though, and I’m aching for him to touch me. I want to touch him too. How can I not when he looks like he does?
“Do we have to go tonight? We could stay here instead,” he says against my skin.
“Your brother and my best friend just got engaged. I think they might be pissed if we don’t show up,” I tell him with a giggle.
“I’ve got another brother. I’ll go to his engagement meal.”
He kisses me again, leaving me breathless and unable to remember my name. When he pulls back, it takes me a few seconds to come back down to earth.
“We’re going. Maybe we can sneak to the bathroom between courses?” I whisper in his ear.
With his arms still around me, he leans back, his eyes searching mine. “No way.”
“Why not?”
“I’m not making love to you for the first time as my girlfriend in the bathroom of Franco’s. It’s not happening.”
My eyes widen and a huge smile appears on my face. “Your girlfriend?”
He smiles back at me. “Yes, Taylor. My girlfriend. What did you think was happening between us?”
“You’ve never called me your girlfriend before.”
“Do you like it?”
“I love it.”
“I love it too. You’d better get dressed if you’re insisting we go. Making love to you will have to wait until later.”
He kisses me on the nose before releasing his hold on me and sitting down on the bed.
“What are you doing?” I ask as his eyes stay fixed on me.
“Watching you get dressed. The view’s better in here.”
I roll my eyes and open my closet, reaching inside for the electric-blue pencil dress I wore when we met up with Wyatt in Phoenix. I remember Seb loved it last time, and I’m hoping the same is true now. I hang the dress on the open door of my closet as I reach around and unclip my bra, sliding the straps down my arms. The dress is too low to wear one, and I look over my shoulder, Seb’s eyes fixed on me. Laughing, I toss the bra at him before reaching for the dress and slipping it on.
“Can you zip me up?” I ask, standing with my back to him.
