Nervous giggles lightened my chest.
Blaine set aside the napkin without using it, pink flushing his face, but his eyes remained dark with want while staring at me.
I realized he’d become completely uninhibited, and nothing would hold him back.
Because of Greyson.
A red flag should have waved frantically in my head, but the promise in his eyes…
I tore my focus off Mr. Yummy for his friend and found the same desire in heated blue irises.
Neither Zeke nor Levi had given me such hungry looks.
I gulped and squeezed my thighs together.
I shot off a second wish and mentally crossed my fingers because those two boys were too damn sexy to deny.

“Can I get you something to drink?” The waitress pulled me back to reality, and I watched as Lily fumbled, fighting to right her brain in order to form words too.
“She’ll have a glass of chardonnay,” Greyson replied coolly as though unaffected by our what-the-fuck situation, and Lily offered him a grateful smile as the waitress hurried away.
The shock of my Lily being Grey’s girl had taken me a few to work through in my brain. Jealousy should have raged—would have for any normal guy—but strange relief flooded me.
I’d finally found a woman who interested me enough I’d left my comfort zone, and she also wanted the man I needed to survive.
I had kissed her in public without thought, without hesitation. All because my life jacket sat beside us.
He gave me the ability to take pleasure in Lily.
The night before, I’d been half-sick with nervousness, unable to initiate what she and I had both desired. But being with them both felt right in ways I’d never experienced with other hookups.
Lily is no hookup.
I breathed the scent of vanilla into my lungs, wanting nothing more than to pull her into my arms again. She was a forever-type girl.
And I longed to know her inside and out. Mentally, emotionally, and physically—with Grey.
“So, how did you two meet?” he asked, sitting back and relaxing when all I wanted to do was head back to our place and let loose in what I yearned for.
His calmness radiated across the table to me, and my shoulders relaxed as though he steered me by autopilot. Such relief came in allowing him to drive the wreck of my life.
“He showed up at the cafe for coffee on Monday morning,” Lily answered, and I let her tell the story, the words flowing from her easy as rain. She’d been smitten by the tall, dark, and handsome she’d referred to as Mr. Yummy in her brain.
Heat flooded my face at her compliments, the arrival of the waitress with Lily’s wine intensifying my embarrassment.
Lily took a sip and made a husky noise of approval that thickened my dick again.
“All I got was his name, and we didn’t even have a chance to chat because of all the other coffee fiends lined up behind him.”
She muttered a few other annoyances about people rushing for work and in a hurry for coffee when they could very well make their own at home rather than drop five bucks on the too-expensive shit they served.
“When I found out he’d come in the next morning and asked for me, I about died.” She pretended to swoon, hand on her chest with a roll of her eyes.
Grey smirked at her drama, his gaze often flitting to me as Lily’s story spilled from her lips in rushed, excitable words.
