I lie on the grass in the garden, as the three of us chat about the worst dates we’ve been on while we eat pizza and drink wine. The best way to spend a Sunday evening.

“We need to stock up on wine.” Anika walks out with another bottle.

“I want to drink, but that means I have to sit up.” I start laughing at Jason, because I feel the same way right now.

I lean on my elbows, as I lift my arm. “We need to find a way we can drink wine and not have to get up,” I tell them both.

“That must be your sugar daddy,” Anika says as the doorbell goes off again. “It’s open!” she shouts.

I move my head a little to the right so I can see Aiden as he walks out to the garden. No matter how many times I’ve seen him, I still check him out, and every time it just turns me on more, and I know it affects him too. What’s even better when I check him out, is when I get to see the ink. God, that looks so hot on him.

As he walks out to the garden, his eyes move over my body, and as he’s eyes reach mine, he smiles.

“Sleeping over, or are you staying here?”

“Sleeping at mine.” His voice is a little hard. It must have been a bad day in the office. “That seems like a lot of wine.” He points to the empty bottles on the table.

“That’s not that many. Give me two minutes to get my stuff.”

“Stuff? I thought you were going to be naked?”

“I do plan on being naked, but I have work in the morning, and I need my stuff.” I walk closer to him. “What do you have planned for my naked body?”

“So much planned, I hope you don’t have to be up too early in the morning.” He places his hand on my hips. “Ready to scream tonight?”

I give him a wink as I walk into the house and head upstairs. I know that I need to get some sleep tonight before my class in the morning, but I’m not sure that is happening.

Sitting in the car, I send a message to Hayley’s caretaker to let her know if she needs anything to call me, as I will not be home.

“I take it you’ve eaten.” Aiden looks over at me.

I don’t answer him as I read the message from the caretaker saying that she had some trouble getting Hayley to take her medication today. She seems to be fighting about little things, and then that becomes one of her personalities.

“Saylor, you there?” Aiden places his hand on my leg, and I look over at him.

“Sorry, I’ve eaten, but if you haven’t, I won’t say no to a cheese pizza,” I tell him as I get back to my message to let her know that all she needs to do is call me and I will be there.

“I will get one delivered. You okay? You seem a little lost in your phone?” I hear Aiden as I wait for the caretaker to message me back.

“Yeah just... nothing. How was work?” I ask. I don’t really know what to tell him, and changing the subject is easier. When it comes to Hayley, I never really know how to bring her up in conversation. If I can work around it, I always will.

“Busy. Don’t really like talking about work. David and my brother are normally the ones I let my stress out on,” Aiden adds quickly, like he needs to tell me why he doesn’t want to talk to me about it. I wasn’t going to question him; I think the less we know, the better.

“Is your brother older than you?” I ask.

“Younger. He's in China travelling at the moment, and sometimes I wish I went with him.” Aiden definitely had a horrible day at work, or he's just not in a good mood.

“Why don’t you go now? I’m sure you can run the business from over there,” I tell him. His hand hardens on my leg. “Are you okay today? You seem off,” I ask him because if this is going to be his mood all night, then I would rather spend the time at home.

“Just been a long day at work, I’m sorry.” Taking my hand, he gives it a kiss. “I shouldn’t be taking it out on you. How has your day been?”

“Good, unpacked. Went through my work plan for the week-” I stop talking when I see David’s name appear on the Bluetooth, and I grab my phone as Aiden starts his conversation with him. They begin talking about some party they have to go to, and I already shake my head to say no when Aiden looks over at me. He lets out a small chuckle, then asks how important it is for him to be there. David tells him he’s going and to shut the fuck up, which makes Aiden end the call and swear to himself.

“Can you pull over please,” I ask as I see Andi's name appear on the phone.
