I look up at him as he sits down, glancing over to look at the time.
Fuck, I’ve been here for ten hours, working on the fuck up and the new app.
“I’m leaving,” I tell him.
This is a huge fuck up, and the last thing I need is a dinner with my parents and the Adams. My focus needs to be solely on this app, but no. Thirty percent of it on the app, the other is on the money I lost. Rubbing my forehead, my eyes are hazy, my head is pounding, and I’m just really fucking tired.
“Don’t worry about the two apps, Anika is on them. I’m not worried.” David pushes the number folder closer to me.
“Until I don’t see them, I will worry.” I switch my computer off, grab my jacket, then head out of the office. “I’ve told the team to be here for twelve,” I tell David.
“It’s Sunday.”
“One of them lost me close to a million, so they will work the same hours I work, until I get it back,” I tell him, or more like shout at him, and that’s when I know I’m exhausted. David is the only one who knows how hard I work, the hours I put into this company, yet I snap at him. I know I need a break, but right now I can’t afford that break.
The staff here all think I work less hours than they do, but they can see how much I do work now. I can’t even remember the last time I took a day off; on the weekends, I normally work at home, but now, I’m in the office. When I told the staff the hours that I work, most of them looked at me with their mouths wide open. If they weren’t happy to be here, the door was open for them to leave. No one left.
In England, I’m the man they all want to work for. You leave my company, you only go down, but you stay, and I will take you up with me.
“And when do you plan on seeing Saylor again?”
“Since when do you care about my sex life?” I dig out my phone and keys.
“Since you want to sleep with the same woman, which you’ve never done. Talking about never done-”
“I already know what you’re going to say,” I cut him off, before he can say it to me. I'm shocked it took him so long to say anything.
“You were on a business call, and you stopped to tell a girl to answer her phone.”
“Well, she wasn’t answering it, and you can see it’s been a messed-up week. I got pissed off,” I tell him. I’ve always stuck to a rule to never mix pleasure and business. So he has a point. I did something I don’t normally do. Stopped business to talk to a girl.
“So what is this? A bit of fun, a way to pass the time, or-”
“How about you stay the fuck out of my sex life, but let’s say that this is fun.”
Last night was a night I plan on having again, and soon. Saylor surprised me. I knew she would be good in bed, but she was amazing. Bendy to the point I could easily have her wrapped around me, then the piercings. I’m getting hard just thinking about them, her nipples, my mouth sucking on the metal was fucking incredible, then, fuck, when I got to her pussy, I had to take a double look. It might have been the hottest thing I’ve touched, ever.
Flicking her clit, my body jolted every time hers did. Never knew that having that piercing would make sex so much better, and I can’t wait to be buried deep inside her again.
“Fun,” I hear David behind me.
Ignoring him, I get in my car and tell him to be ready at twelve tomorrow.
Now I have to go to dinner, which I’m not looking forward to at all. My parents have been friends with the Adams for a long time, since before I was born. They like to have family dinners, when they come too. My mother will try to set me up with Cathy, the Adams’ daughter, and I have no interest in dating or sleeping with her. Then there is the asshole brother, who is just a waste of space. He wastes his parents’ money on nights out, drinking, stupid parties, and cars. He’s never worked a day in his life, and his parents are stupid for just letting him live off them.

“Mum, dad,” I say as I reach the table, leaning down to give her a kiss on the cheek. As I pull out a chair for myself, I say hello to Vic and Rick Adams.
“Cathy, beautiful as ever,” I say and ignore Bruce.
“Aiden, what kept you?” my mother asks.
“Work, mum. I’m working.” She gives me her mothering look of disgust at my tone.
I pick up the menu and see what I want to order. I’m wasting my time here. I could be in the office working, or trying to get Saylor to go on a date with me. Anything is better than being here right now.
“I keep telling you, you need to work less, and find-”
