Changing his name in my phone, it beeps again.
Sexy Daddy - I put it in your phone when you fell asleep. Have you already changed my name?
Saylor - Not telling you.
Sexy Daddy - Tease. Dinner tonight. Be ready at 7pm
Saylor - I’m not saying this to get out of dinner, but it’s moving weekend. Sorry.
Throwing my phone on the bed, I grab my coffee and walk into the bathroom, turning the shower on. I don’t want to shower… I like the smell of Aiden on me, but I need it to wake me up a little. He was right, he isn’t an old timer, far from it, because he can had me screaming all night.
Walking back to my room, I hear Anika and Jason talking to each other. Grabbing my phone from my room, I join them both and I fall onto the bed.
“What are you two talking about?” I ask, looking at the text messages from Aiden.
Sexy Daddy - You need to eat.
Sexy Daddy - You ignoring me?
Saylor - I was in the shower.
“No, don’t answer that. Tell me about your hook ups?” I look at them, wanting the dirt from them. They asked me about mine, so I want to know about theirs.
“Hot.”
“Nice.”
They both answer me together, but I turn to Jason first. “Nice? Jason, your standards are way too high,” I tell him, then turn to Anika. “I want more details.”
“My standards are not high. I just know what I want, and he wasn’t it.”
“Well, when you find your prince, we want to meet him so we can make sure he’s real and get you married.” I start laughing at what Anika has just said, which is true. The moment the man is to his liking, it will be a miracle. So if he ever finds one, we will both be shocked.
Sexy Daddy - See if you stayed here, we could have showered together.
Not replying back, I go to ask Anika about her night, but stop when I hear the front door slam shut. Great, she’s going to be in a horrible mood today.
“Saylor, Saylor!”
“In here.” I turn to the door as Hayley stands in the doorframe.
“Did you know mum left?”
“Yes, and as far as I see it, she's dead, and you better start thinking the same thing,” I tell her. I don’t respect my mother. She left us because she couldn’t handle Hayley.
“Well, I’m going to talk to her.” Shaking my head, I sigh. We don’t even know where she is, so I don’t know how Hayley is going to find her. “Grandma lives in Wales, so maybe she’s there.” Hayley walks away from us, and I get off the bed quickly and grab her arm.
“Hey.” She turns around. “How about I come with you, as soon as the van is loaded.” She looks at me blankly, and I’m wondering if this is going to turn into a bigger fight. “Come on, it will be fun. Road trip.” I hate it when she’s in this stage; fourteen is an age I hate with a passion.
“How long?”
“By early evening,” I tell her, taking a step closer to her. “Did you take your medication this morning?”
“I don’t need it.”
“Hayley, you do, that was the deal. You can stay here as long as you take them,” I tell her. I know that the medication doesn't help her as a whole, but it calms her down and gives me my sister back for a while.
“Yeah, yeah. I’m living in a prison.” She slams the door leading to the garden, and I let out a big breath as I walk out towards her room, going to get her tablets.
