"One day when you meet someone who will see the universe that was knitted into your bones, and the embers of the galaxies glow to life in your eyes. And you will finally know what love is supposed to feel like..."

The priest kept saying a few words while I just stare at Alexander, admiring all his features.

He does look good.

Why does he have to be attractive?

"Now Thalia, repeat after me," the priest says, making me focus back on him. "I, Thalia De Luca, take you, Alexander Russo, to be my lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."

I put on a fake smile and repeat the priest. "I, Thalia De Luca, take you, Alexander Russo, to be my lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."

The priest turns to Alexander. "Repeat after me. I, Alexander Russo, take you, Thalia De Luca, to be my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."

"I, Alexander Russo, take you, Thalia De Luca, to be my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part," Alexander says while taking my hands in his.

"You may kiss the bride." Before I can protest, Alexander walks forward and captures my lips with his.

For a moment it feels like it’s just Alexander and I in the room. It is just us in a bed of sheets kissing one another, feeling passion within our bones.

It is perfect.

I almost let out a small whimper when he takes his lips off mine.

Shit.

Thalia what the fuck?

Really? In front of a whole ass audience.

"Looks like you are stuck with me, angel." Alexander smirks while looking down at me.

"Oh, joy," I mutter.

Thirty Four

Today I am going to talk to Killian. I would have talked to him a few days ago but I have been preoccupied with the wedding.

The wedding was yesterday and after the ceremony we just took pictures, and everyone went home.

Today my father is showing Alexander and me the new house. I am kind of excited to see what the house will look like because my dad designed it himself. But before going to the house I want to talk to Killian.

I leave the living room and walk upstairs to Killian's room. I knock on his door but I don't hear anything, so I just open the door.I get inside and his room is pitch black. I walk to the window and open the blinds and the window to get some fresh air in here.

"The fuck are you doing?" Killian groans and then lifts the blanket to cover his head. "Turn the fucking window off!"

I roll my eyes. "I can't turn a window off, jackass." I take the blanket off of him and he is just in a pair of sweatpants. My eyes zone in on his chest and I see a tattoo. "When the fuck did you get that?" I ask, pointing to it.

It is a tattoo of three small birds on his collarbone.

"Fuck off, Thal," he groans and then lays on his stomach. "Don't you have some stuff to move or something?"

"I'm not leaving," I deadpan.

Killian turns around and glares at me. "What the fuck do you need Thalia?"

I sigh and sit at the end of his bed. "What's going on with you? You are acting like a dick."

"Sorry, I'm an asshole," Killian chuckles.
