"That's right. Partying until I feel like throwing up in the morning."
"Why'd you decide to bring me?" Rowan asks as he walks inside the kitchen.
He leans on the counter while I pour a drink.
"Because you interest me."
"How so?"
I look at Rowan and admire him for a few seconds. His arms are crossed over his chest, and he has a serious look on his face. He almost looks emotionless as he stares at me.
Like a corpse that feels nothing.
I bet if the most gorgeous girl, or even me, walked up to him and started flirting with him, he probably wouldn't feel a thing.
I feel like it would take a lot for Rowan to crack or at least show some sort of emotion.
"Because you're very stoic. You don't really show any emotion. Anger, sadness, annoyance, anxiety, anticipation, or even interest. Especially when I'm standing next to you."
"There is nothing in the world that has captured my attention yet, Thalia. You're a beautiful girl but not for me."
"Interesting," I smile and nod my head at him before taking a sip of my drink.
I offer Rowan a drink, but he shakes his head and says he's good.
While talking to Rowan a little more, my eyes catch a familiar form walking through the house.
Alexander is wearing a white t-shirt with black trousers and that gold chain with a cross around his neck, like the fucking stud he is.
I haven't spoken to him since the day in his house which was almost a week ago.
The past week I have been distracting myself with wedding preparations, trying not to think about Alexander Russo and how I feel with him.
Ever since I left his house, my body has been feeling needy and desperate for something. I hate the way it's making me feel and I hate that Alexander is the only one who can take that feeling away and replace it with something better.
I was hoping Rowan would help me out tonight, but I don't see that happening anymore.
I don't think Rowan would even kiss me if I begged him on my knees for it. He seems like the type to only fuck when he is with girls. No kissing or intimate touches.
I bet he fucks good though.
"What's up with you and Russo?"
My eyes go back to Rowan and that feeling in my stomach washes away.
"What do you mean?" I raise my eyebrow at him.
"You and Alexander. Everyone sees it."
"Sees what?"
"How you two want each other."
I can't help but chuckle.
"We don't want each other."
Rowan nods his head lightly. "Come here."
