Page 82 of Thalia De Luca

Thalia gets out of my arms and she grabs my hand. "Let's go meet him then."

I take a deep breath and walk with her towards where her parents are.

For fucks sake I haven't even seen them.

I was hoping that the first person I would see would be Thalia but obviously, that's not how things worked.

As we walk closer, I only see Ace with his back turned towards me. My mind immediately goes back to what my parents told me.

Aria De Luca is supposed to die soon from cancer. My parents found out she had cancer a few days before me and Thalia’s wedding. But they didn’t tell Thalia until Aria fell down the stairs one night a few weeks after Thalia found out she was pregnant. Aria told her then and they cried together as Thalia held onto Aria, hoping she would never leave her arms.

Leaves crush behind me, and Ace turns his head.

His face is filled with shocked as he looks at me.

"That's not possible," Ace states, looking up and down at me. Ace walks closer to me, and I stop walking with Thalia, whose hand I am still holding. Ace trails his eyes all over my face and then he looks at Thalia who has dried tears on her face and a small smile. "I always knew you would make my daughter cry," Ace says before pulling me into a hug.

I chuckle and hug him back.

I am about to say something but then I hear the door to the bathroom a few feet away open, making me look away from Ace and look behind him.

I see a little kid who has dark blonde hair, almost brown.

He looks like a miniature me.

It is scary as fuck to see him.

"Mommy, why is everyone crying?" the boy asks while looking at Thalia.

Thalia tries to contain her tears as she walks closer to him and picks him up. "Baby. I want you to meet someone." Ace let’s go of me and I walk closer to Thalia and the little boy. The little boy looks at me and I can see the confusion on his face spread. "Meet Alexander Russo. Your dad," Thalia says softly.

I don't say anything.

I stand still and study him and his expressions.

I stand so still as if he is a ticking time bomb, and he will explode.

"Dad?" The boy looks up at Thalia and raises his eyebrows. "Daddy's not here though." He looks back at me.

"Turns out, he was here all along." Thalia looks at me with a soft smile. "Alexander. Meet your son Landon Russo."

I look down at Landon and compare him and Thalia since they are side by side.

He took some of her features, but he looks more like me.

I put my hand out to Landon. "Nice to meet you, Landon."

Landon inspects my hand and looks at Thalia. Thalia nods her head and Landon puts his hand in mine.

"Nice to meet you," Landon states and I can't help but laugh.

If you told me that Thalia and I would be in love, she would be my wife, having my child, me dying then coming back to fucking life and meeting my son this way, I would have died from laughter and choked on my own spit.

Epilogue

ONE YEAR LATER

The feeling of soft lips on my thighs makes me stir in my sleep. My eyes open and I look to my side but don't see Alexander.
