Before he can shoot him, I grab the gun from Alexander and shoot Cameron multiple times making him fall to the floor.
I look back at Alexander. "Why would you save me?" I ask as more tears fall down my cheeks.
Alexander then smirks. "Because you’re the only girl I love and I'm selfish enough to not want to live in a world without you rather than you living in a world without me."
Forty
My black dress has blood all over the fabric and my hands are bloody from trying to keep the pressure on Alexander's wound.
I am sitting in the family hospital waiting room with his parents, my parents, and some of my other family members. Killian is here too but he is in surgery because he got a bullet wound in the shoulder from shielding my mother.
A lot of people had to get admitted.
My father is having his men make sure there are no Russians in the country before he starts sending people off to different parts of the world to make sure they are all for sure dead.
"Killian De Luca." I look up to see a nurse with a clipboard. I stand up along with my parents and walk to her. "Your boy will be fine. He lost a lot of blood, so he just needs to rest but he is okay. He also fractured his hands, so he needs to ice them and I have them wrapped as well."
"Can we see him?" My mother asks.
I can tell how scared she was about Killian. I was scared, still am scared because there is still Alexander who we haven't heard from.
"Of course. The doctor will be speaking with the both of you shortly. He said he has some news he would like to discuss with the both of you.”
My mom and dad look at one another. They both have a knowing look in their eyes but don’t say anything. I don’t think anything of it and just follow them to his room.
When we walk inside his room we see him sleeping.
"Thank god," my mom says once she sees him. She walks up to Killian and sits next to him on the side of the bed. She moves some of his hair out of his face and strokes his cheek. "He's okay," my mom whispers.
My dad walks towards her and rests his arms on her shoulders, hugging her from behind.
He kisses her head. "He's okay, amore. We're okay," he whispers.
I bite my lip and walk towards Killian who is starting to stir in his sleep making me feel relief throughout my body.
He's okay.
"What the fuck are you guys looking all sad for?" Killian asks once he wakes up, making me laugh.
I then attack him in a hug. "I was so fucking scared dude," I chuckle, as tears threaten to spill from my eyes.
"I'm not dead so you don't have to act like you care, Thalia," Killian chuckles.
I let go of him and punch him in his good shoulder. "Dick."
Killian smiles. "The biggest."
My mom then hugs Killian and he hugs her back. "I'm so happy you’re okay," she whispers. "Don't ever try to save me again."
Killian lets go of her. "I won't promise that."
"If anyone will be dying for your mom, Killian, it will be me," my dad says.
"No one will be dying for anyone," my mom says looking at my dad.
My dad chuckles and kisses my mother again.
We spend another hour in Killian's room. The doctor still hasn’t come to Killian’s room, so we’ve just been waiting on him. I’m getting anxious to know what he wanted to say.
