He can't seriously be blaming me, can he?
"Alexander, you went with Thalia to Moscow. You were both supposed to come back together but I only see one of you in front of me. What happened while you two were in Russia, Alexander? Why did Thalia leave without you?" Ace asks while placing his arms on his desk.
"I don't know. How about you ask her when you see her?" I say in a sarcastic tone.
"I would love to, but she isn't here, Alexander. Why did she leave?"
I roll my eyes. "I wish I knew the answer." Ace then lets out an annoyed sigh and rubs his forehead. "How do you know where she is?"
"I have a mole in their estate, and he heard Vladimir's men talking about how they have Thalia."
I clench my fist imagining everything that they could be doing to her.
She shouldn't have fucking left without me.
This is her fault. She did this to herself.
"What did Aria say?"
"I haven't told her yet. You are the first to know. I wanted to get a backstory from you but obviously, that won't happen," Ace says frustratedly.
"Look, I didn't do shit so stop blaming me and thinking that I did."
Ace then stands up from his chair and he looks down at me. "I would be very careful with how you act around me right now Alexander," Ace threatens. "You are going to help me find Thalia," Ace states coldly.
I chuckle. "The fuck I will."
Thalia hurt me. I am not going to help find her. It is her fault that she fucking left without me. She will deal with the consequences.
Ace furrows his eyebrows at me. "What did you just say? Did you say no to me?"
I stand up from my chair and lean closer to Ace. "I said the fuck I will. I am not helping you," I deadpan.
Suddenly I feel a punch to my face. I hold onto my jaw that is hurting and I look at Ace and see him glaring at me.
"You will help me, Alexander. I don't care about your little feud, but my daughter is gone. She isn't at home where she belongs so you will help me get her back if it's the last thing I do."
I chuckle again.
Shit, I might be a fucking lunatic for arguing with Ace De Luca out of all people, but I can't think straight right now.
"No."
I feel another punch to the face and before I can stop myself, I throw a punch to Ace's face making him hold his jaw.
Ace composes himself and then walks around the table to pin me down on the floor. "You are fucking crazy!" Ace yells and he punches me in the face again.
I throw a punch to Ace's face and another to his neck to get him off of me, but he doesn't.
The fuck?
Isn't a punch to the throat supposed to throw someone off or something?
"I didn't do shit. You shouldn't have assumed."
"Agree to help me, Alexander," Ace demands while sending another punch to my face, making my lip bleed.
I punch Ace in the face catching him off guard, so I throw him off of me and stand up. "Fuck you! I'm not helping!" I yell while Ace stands up and wipes the blood from his nose. "It's her fault she left, and I am not going to be there to pick up her mess. You are her dad so you can do that shit. I'm going home and if you call me again about her then I am not answering," I say, before walking away from Ace.
