They have a lot of good options. I have been to this restaurant a couple of times. They have really good food choices.

"Are you guys ready to order?" the waitress says.

Cameron and I both order our food, and we give our menus to her. She says that the food will be here in less than twenty minutes which is great because I am starving.

"So how is your sister? Is she still in the hospital?" I ask.

"No, she is at home now. But the doctor put her on new medication because I guess her body wasn't reacting to the medication she was taking before."

"How is your mom?"

"She is the same as always," Cameron shrugs his shoulders "But enough about me. How was your birthday? Did you guys have fun?"

My birthday was interesting.

I almost died from Russian assassins and then I later found out I have to have an arranged marriage to the person I hate the most in the world.

Same old, same old.

"It was good. We all had fun, but the club had to kick everyone out because of some trouble that someone caused," I lie. "But it was fun. It was a pretty good day. But I wished you stayed longer."

Honestly, I’m glad he didn't because if he did then he would probably have ended up dead.

"Yes, I know and I'm sorry."

"No, it's better that you went to your sister. She needed you."

The waitress soon came back with the food; I ordered spaghetti and meatballs.

The meatballs look really fucking good.

Cameron and I both talk about different things and while he is talking, I feel my phone vibrate from inside my purse.

I take it out and look down at the screen, I see Alexander's name flash across the screen while it is still vibrating in my hand. I roll my eyes and press the power button, making the phone stop vibrating. After a few seconds, it vibrates again, and I look at my phone and see his name again.

I look up at Cameron. "Can you give me a minute?" I ask Cameron. "I need to take this call."

"Of course," Cameron nods his head, and I stand up and walk away with the phone.

"What?" I hiss once I answer.

"Where are you?" I hear Alexander say from the other side of the phone.

"Don't worry about it? Why are you blowing up my phone?"

"You need to get here. Now."

I feel panic flood through my body. "Why?"

"Do you have your car, or did you take a driver?" Alexander asks, ignoring my question.

"My car."

"Okay, get here as soon as you can."

Twelve

I told Cameron I had to leave early. I am pretty sure he wanted us to go to his place and hang out, but I obviously had other plans.
