This fucker loves my girl. If he wasn't my best mate, I'd honestly be worried.
“Hi,” Jess says, with the fakest smile I’ve ever seen plastered across her face.
Fuckme.Really?
Matt steps forward, his eyes roaming over my girl, a goofy look on his stupid face. “Hi, I’m Matt.”
I wrap my arm around Molly’s shoulders and pull her firmly to my side. “Mine,” I practically growl at him.
He takes a step back, turns bright red, and turns his attention back to Jess.
Molly chuckles and slaps my chest with her hand. “You’re ridiculous, Ryan.”
I grin down at her and place a kiss on top of her head.
“Right, well, this has been fun, but I’m leaving,” Jess says sarcastically.
I nod and move towards the counter to put the food down. “No worries, I’ll catch up with you another time.”
“Sure,” she hisses before storming past me, throwing open the door and storming out.
Someone’s in a fucking mood.
“Good to see she hasn’t changed,” Beckett says, smirking.
I roll my eyes and turn to Matt. He pays for his tattoo and quickly says his goodbye’s, leaving the three of us alone in the shop.
Beckett pulls the lid off the container holding Penny’s famous chocolate cake and digs in with a disposable bamboo spoon Molly must have packed in there for him. “Ohmygod, I love you, Molly,” he groans around his mouthful.
I narrow my eyes, and he scoffs. “Please, you don’t scare me with that look, mate. I don’t want your girl.” He looks to Molly and grins. “Unless...”
“Beckett,” I bark.
“Alright, boys, I’m leaving. We’re super busy today. I just didn’t want you both starving over here,” Molly says, standing on her toes to kiss my cheek.
“Thanks, baby. You’re a lifesaver.”
“Anytime.” She winks before saying goodbye to Beckett and walking her sexy little ass out the door.
“I like her for you, man,” Beckett says, taking another bite of cake.
I nod, watching her walk towards her car.
Me. Fucking. Too.

RYAN
Molly has been at my place for an hour, and I’ve been rock hard for at least fifty-five minutes. We’re watching a movie, but I can’t for the life of me remember the name. As far as I can tell, it’s about a woman that wants a guy, that wants her. But they hate each other...
She put it on when we sat down. I assumed ‘watching a movie' meant something else. But here we are.
She’s cuddled up to my side, one leg hung over my thigh, head resting on my bare chest. All I can focus on is her legs in those tiny black bike shorts. Her tits in that tight white singlet. Her hair’s up in a bun, and her neck and shoulders are on full display.
I drop my head down, so it’s closer to her ear, and whisper, “Evie and Penny were good to have Emma for you tonight?”
She’s staying over for the first time. We’ve been dating for almost two months now, but she always goes home in time to put Emma to bed when we see each other after work. She’s tries to come past the shop a few times a week for lunch, and I do the same at Coffee Leaf. She always brings Beckett a piece of Penny’s chocolate cake, so he thinks she’s the best thing since sliced bread. I do, too, but for very different reasons.
