Giving Jigsaw a blowjob doesn’t last long. After, we get ready and go back downstairs to eat. Hazen is down there now with Thorne and Ledger, and they are talking about the movies they seemingly watched last night.
“And he’s… his father?” Thorne asks.
All at once, we all say, “Yes.”
Thorne pulls me to him on the island and kisses my pulse. “I am taking Khazon and Ozias to get my stuff from the country home. Is that okay?”
I nod, kissing his lips. Ledger gives me a quick kiss before telling me he will join them to help.
It feels so lovely to have my men getting along.
Then Inarian almost bumps into Ledger while plating food. They growl at each other but move on. I feel like they will never get along but will try for me.
After breakfast and leaving through a portal, I fix my hair in one of the windows before moving to the front of the headquarters. My three seven-foot hellhound boyfriends are behind me.
“Head up,” Inarian mutters in my ear. “That crown is falling.”
As Hazen opens the door for me, I lift my head, fixing my literal crown... “Thank you, babe.”
The number of looks we get while passing makes me feel powerful. I see Ryker talking to Grim Reaper outside the room we were meeting at. His pink eyes find me, and a smile runs on his lips.
“Grim,” I say, hugging him. He greets me back. Ryker gets a brief kiss before we all enter the vast conference room. A few faces I recognize as I stand at the front. “Good morning, everyone.” While they reply, Hazen hands me a bag with empty balls and a whip. I move to the front row and hand the bag back to Buffy. “Nice seeing you again.”
“The pleasure is mine, Queen,” she says with a bow of her head.
It took a lot of strings to get her—a human—into Hell. “Please, stay around after. I would like to talk to you.”
She nods.
I move back to the front while speaking, “We lost fifty-five thousand, four hundred and thirty-three souls, and I need all of your help retrieving them.”
After the hour-long meeting of telling them what I expect and how they will be paid for each soul, the group of Soul Reapers clears out. I say goodbye to each one, trying to remember the names of the ones I didn’t know.
Left in the room are just my four men, Buffy and Opal—the only two humans here. I move back to the front, sighing.
“That was…”
“Amazing,” Hazen finished. “I had no idea you were thinking and planning all that out.”
“What did you think I was doing in my office all week?” I put my hand on my hips.
“Ryker,” he says.
Ryker sucks his teeth. “I wish.”
“Are all of these guys your boyfriends?” Buffy asks. I almost forgot she was here.
“Yes,” I said, nodding. “I have four more, but they were too busy to come.
“Oh yeah, that makes sense.” She chuckles a bit nervously.
“Ryker, Hazen, Inarian, and Jigsaw, these are the girls that saved me on Earth, Buffy and Opal.”
Buffy shakes everyone’s hand beside Jigsaw as he tells her he’s toxic and will burn her skin off.
“We can’t keep you guys longer, so let’s get down to business,” I say to them. “How many of these balls can you produce, and how many monsters can they hold?”
“Depends on the size. Three, at most. One of my friends makes them, and he’s a warlock,” Buffy explains.
