White-hot pleasure surges through me, causing me to arch. “I love you, Ozias. I love you. Please don’t stop.” His groans mix with my cries. Together, our bodies quake as we hit our orgasms. My eyes squeeze shut. “I’m coming! I’m coming, Ozias! Please! Please!”

He slams into me, roaring in pleasure and filling me as I shatter, crying out his name. I fall forward onto his sweaty shoulder.

“Holy fuck.”

He chuckles. “Are you okay?”

I nod, smiling. “Very.”

We sit here, listening to each other’s breathing for a while before we finally move to get dressed. Though Lucifer isn’t home, I don’t want to get caught with our pants down… well, off. As I slide on my T-shirt, the library door opens, and a head peeks in.

Jigsaw. His hair is down today, flowing jaggedly to his shoulders. He’s wearing a skin-tight black T-shirt and cargo pants. His lime-green eyes flip between us before he lets out a laugh. “Fucking finally!” The door closes as he leaves the library.

I sigh and roll my eyes as Ozias laughs heavily. “They made bets on if you would sleep with Lucifer before you even kissed me.”

“I’m not going to fuck Lucifer!”

“Surprised you haven’t already. You’ve had the biggest crush on him.”

“Me too.”

He chuckles, pulling on my hips so I’m between his thick thighs. He cups my cheeks and pulls my lips to his. I savor his taste even though his kiss only lasts a few moments. “Can I do that more often?”

Nodding, my eyes drop to his lips, and his voice sounds like velvet wrapping around his tongue. “Just try not to get me so wet with one kiss.”

He smiles before standing. I take a step back, looking up at him. “What took you so long?”

I swallow. “I… I was scared to lose you or Khazon, and by the time I left, I knew I would return to be the queen. I just… I was focused, trying to do my best as the queen. I’m sorry, and it’s not that I don’t love you.”

He nods, cupping the back of my head. “It’s stressful being the heir. We all are one.”

“I was being selfish again, huh?”

Ozias will be Hades one day, though it might be a thousand years after my reign. Khazon will take over the Angel of Death at some point. They were always ready to take the ropes and be the best they could be, and they never seemed to mind.

He shakes his head. “You needed it in a way we couldn’t understand. That’s why I was never pissed off at you. I didn’t think you did it to leave us behind. You needed it.”

My lips part. “You have always been so patient with me, Ozzy.”

He stares at me, swallowing. “I would have waited a million years just to kiss you.”

My heart swells. Why would he even want to do that? I am not worth the constant struggle to get me to notice him.

“I love you, Asura.”

I wrap my arms around his waist and close the space between us. “I love you, too.” Ozias has always been there for me. He risked his life to save me from several Hell Storms. His back was torn up and still might be. He is selfless, watching me be so selfish. But I agree. I left, trying to find myself and become someone I knew was inside me. I needed that, or I don’t think I could have ever been Queen or even a good one.

“Did you guys fuck already?” Ryker’s voice has me pulling away and looking at the door. My men, besides Inarian, all stand at the other end of the room, watching us.

“You missed the show,” I say.

Khazon’s brows raise. “I’m sure Ozias won’t mind if you do it again.”

I giggle and throw a pillow from the couch at him. “Since you all are here and willing to participate, I need help finding a book.”

Ledger moves from the library, saying, “I can’t read, sorry.”

Khazon grabs his shirt, looking at me. “We will help you.”
