Jack’s come joins it, a second pool when he pulls from them, but Diyo doesn’t move. They suck at my clit as though they’re using it as a pacifier.
And then, Jack places his hand in the centre of Diyo’s back and draws his palm along the satyr’s spine.
Diyo’s eyes fly wide and the jerk upright.
Another gush of come falls from them, mixing with theirs in the clover.
“You are a bastard.” Their lips twist in a sharp smile and then they look down at me. “But I understand why you keep coming back, sweet Lily.”
An Unhappy Request
With a sated sigh, Diyo lolls to the side, grabbing a leaf that pulls from its branch like a long scarf. They use it to clean themselves up, and then nibble on it, eyes trailing over me.
“Thank you, little goddess. You were a delicious and decadent treat. Both of you.”
They pull another leaf and flick it over me like a blanket before they stand, stretching out their arms and shoulders. Joints crackling like distant fireworks.
“Go use my restorative pool,” they wave toward a newly formed arch in the foliage, and the shimmering purple water beyond it.
“We need—“
They cut me off with a hard shake of their head. “Not so fast, my sweet dear. I couldn’t possibly think after all that. We’ll talk business when we’re all refreshed and thinking with clearer heads.”
They turn back in the direction they’d come from. “I need to go check on my revellers… make sure the leprechaun isn’t turning any of them into trees or frogs.”
With a shake of their head, they disappear into the greenery, and I look up at Jack. “They are going to come back, right?”
“They won’t go back on their word.”
I let him help me up to standing and when I’ve cleaned myself off, I leave the leaf hanging on a branch. I’m not about to eat it.
Jack doesn’t let me walk to the pool, lifting me up, he cuddles me close and presses a kiss to the place just behind my ear. “I’ll never pass up the chance for a little peace and quiet with you.”
Snuggling closer, I bite my tongue instead of speaking the thought that came to my mind.
Even after we finish Juun’s tests—and I refuse to believe we might fail—we still have a lifetime before this is real.
All we’ll have are stolen nights and the long days in between.
Jack steps into the pool, walking until I’m floating, and the water is up to his chest, I shiver at the effervescence of it.
Cool and clear, the water laps at me as though it has a mind of its own—as if it wants—to touch me.
“Just relax, Lily, let me take care of you.
The pool doesn’t let me sink into it. I float with only a few inches of that shimmering water over me, as Jack brushes his hands over me, sloughing off anything the leaf didn’t take care of.
I can ignore the fact it feels like he’s petting me, because it feels too good.
But he draws me back against him, raising me half out of the water, with one arm around me.
“Here, drink this.”
The flower in his hand is both wide and deep, like a shallow bowl, and when I take it from him, I have to hesitate. “You’re sure this isn’t more lube?”
“Of course.” But he still draws my hand up so that he can take the first sip. His nose twitches and when I take it from him, I understand why.
It bursts like popping candy across my tongue, sweet and sharp, and before I realise it, I’ve tipped back the whole thing in one long gulp.
