Finn’s lips press against my head. “Sleep, baby, I’ve got you.”
God, he’s so damn sweet. If someone would have told me six months ago that I’d be in love with Finn Gallagher, and that he’s not just the monster that’s portrayed, I’d have laughed in their face. But I’m glad I found him, or rather, that he found me. I can’t imagine my life without him.

“Hey, baby.”Finn’s soft words pull me from my sleep. “Wake up, Dest, we’re almost there.”
I blink and see his cocky grin. I narrow my eyes, wondering what the hell he’s going to say now.
“You’re so cute when you snore.”
I straighten my clothes as I sit up, affronted. I glare at him. “I do not snore.”
“Sure, and water isn’t wet,” he replies dryly.
I ignore him and turn my gaze out the window. Ass.
Alex pulls into the Gallagher mansion. They’ve seemed to have made it headquarters since Seamus died. They all meet here when things go down.
“What is the meeting about?” I ask once we get out of the vehicle.
“I don’t know,” Finn tells me. “Granda was supposed to set a meeting up the day after everything went down, but he got a call and had to leave. He’s back now and has summoned everyone.”
“Why have I been asked to come?” It’s weird. His family have all accepted me as one of their own. I’m not sure how to take it. Finn and I are new. Yes, we’re in love, but it’s foreign to me to have so many people include me into their family.
“Because you’re mine, and what affects this family now affects you.”
Well, alright then. I’m not sure there’s anything to say back to that.
We step into the house and are instantly greeted by Holly, who pulls me into her arms and hugs me tight.
Something I’ve learned is that Holly’s the only one of the women who hugs. The others are smiley and welcoming, but not to Holly’s extent.
Everyone says hello as we enter the huge living room.
“Is everyone here yet?” Finn asks.
“Yes, we were just waiting for you. Raylee isn’t here though. She had to go back to Spain, and she took Mayer with her. The other children are in the back yard playing with their nannies,” Makenna tells him. “Get Destiny a seat. She shouldn’t be standing on that leg.”
Oh God, not her too?
Finn chuckles beside me as he leads me toward the empty sofa. “Everyone’s worried, so you’re going to have it suck it up today.”
I scrunch my nose in disgust. I don’t like being made a fuss of. It’s not who I am.
“Ah, good, everyone’s here,” an older gentleman says as he strides into the room. He turns to me with a warm smile. He has the same color eyes as most of the Gallagher’s: a piercing blue. “Destiny, it’s lovely to see you.”
I return his smile. “And you, Mr. Gallagher.”
He waves me away. “You can call me Granda Henry.”
“Wait—what?” Melissa says, glancing around and looking at the other women. “How come she can call you that, but Raylee, Callie, and I can’t?”
Callie shrugs. “I can.”
Melissa blinks and then folds her arms over her chest and sinks back into the sofa, where Danny wraps an arm around her shoulder. He whispers something in her ear, all the while wearing a huge smile.
“You, my dear,” Granda Henry says, “never seemed to be bothered. But you may call me it.”
