I knife up in the bed. "What about him?"

"He's in a spot of bother," Danny tells me. "He's actually gone off in the deep end. He's kidnapped Destiny Carter."

Ah, fuck. I should have known he didn't believe that Carter had nothing to do with our father's death. My brother has changed since he woke up from a coma and found out that our father had died and he was shot.

"Where's he taken her?" I ask, wondering just how far he's gone.

The silence is deafening.

"Fucking hell, Danny boy, talk to me. What's happened?"

"Finn hasn’t been seen nor heard from in two days. He took Destiny from her house, and no one knows where they are. From what Makenna's said, the Carter house was trashed and Carter was bloodied. But in forty-eight hours, Finn and Destiny haven't been seen."

"I'm calling the jet; we'll be leaving soon," I tell him as I slide out of the bed and notice Callie's sitting up, her eyes wide as she looks at me.

"Stop off and get us on your way," he instructs. "Don't forget to call Mal."

"He's my next call. See you soon."

"What?" Callie asks, clutching the sheets to her body. "What's happened?"

I walk over to her and pull her into me. "Finn's in trouble. He's kidnapped a young girl. No one can find either of them."

Her face pales. "He won't hurt her..." she tilts her head, staring at me. "Right?"

I don't answer her, because honestly, with the frame of mind that Finn's in, he could hurt her without thinking twice.
