I take a step toward her. "What the fuck did I tell you?" I snarl at her, my words filled with anger and she flinches. Good. "You do not talk to my wife like that. Fuck. You don't even look at her. Stay the fuck away from us, Georgina."
Tears fill her eyes. "But we were so good together," she whispers as though that's meant to mean anything.
"You were good on your knees, Georgina. That's all. Ask any man in here, the majority have had you. Do you think any man wants someone like you? Not one of them is even paying you any attention. Take a look," I tell her and smirk as she glances around. Every man's eyes are on my fucking wife. "You are not even in the same league as her. This is the last warning you get. You come near her again and I'm going to forget that you're a woman and snap your fucking neck."
Her eyes are wide, and she glances toward Holly.
"Don't fucking look at her," I snarl at her. Beyond fucking pissed that she's trying to ruin my marriage. The one thing that I hold above all else.
I smirk at her as I watch Carter storm toward us. "What the fuck did I say to you, Georgina?" His voice low, the anger coming off him in waves. "You do not fuck with me." He grabs her arm and pulls her toward him.
"Dad," an unknown voice calls out and I watch as Carter blanches. The anger disappears instantly as he turns to the blonde girl, she's young. Too fucking young to be at this party. "Mom's looking forher," the way she spits the word her, tells me that we’re not the only ones that Georgina has pissed off, this girl is glaring at her with hatred.
"Okay, Destiny, I'll be there in a second. I need to sort this mess out,” he tells the girl, his focus still on Georgina.
Fucking hell, how the hell has Carter managed to keep his daughter out of the spotlight for so long? I haven't seen that girl since she was six.
Destiny glares at Georgina. "Aren't you sick of sorting her shit out? You should have sent her to boarding school."
I hear the sharp intake of breath from Holly and see that she's trying to stop the laughter.
"You always were a fucking bitch, Dest," Georgina says and I have to admit, the woman's got balls, especially to say that in front of Carter.
"Better to be a bitch than a desperate whore," Destiny fires back. "We all saw them, George, fuck, it was like foreplay. You think you're going to come between them." Destiny shakes her head. "I knew you were stupid, I didn't think you had a death wish."
"What would you know? You're a frigid bitch."
Destiny laughs. "No, I have some self-respect." She glances at her father. "I take it we have to leave now?"
Carter sighs. "Yeah, we're leaving."
Destiny glares at Georgina. "Great, thank fuck I'm leaving tomorrow." She turns and walks away.
"I like her," Holly announces.
"Same," Makenna replies. "She has taste. How old is she?"
Carter sighs yet again, not once letting go of Georgina. "Seventeen going on twenty." He leans down and whispers something into Georgina's ear which makes her tense. She nods and walks away.
"I apologize for my niece," he says and I'm wondering when he's going to realize enough is e-fucking-enough. His brother died and the viper went to live with him. Obviously, she's a fucking bitch to everyone, even his daughter hates him. "She'll not cause you and your wife any more trouble. I assure you."
"I'll hold you to that," I tell him and watch him bristle. "She does or says one more thing, I'm holding you personally responsible."
He glares at me before walking off.
"Well, that was an interesting start to the evening," Holly says. "All that was missing was the popcorn. I need a drink."
"I hate you," Makenna grumbles. "I want a drink, too."
Holly steps closer to her, a weak smile on her face. "I'll get you some tea."
"God, you're evil." Makenna groans, "Where's Antonio?" She asks, glancing around the mansion. He's a cousin of ours and this is his party. The fucking asshole. He's flashy as hell.
"Knowing, Antonio, he's already found a woman for the evening," Alessio comments and both women shake their heads in disgust.
I pull Holly into my body. "We need to find an empty room."
Her eyes dilate. "Rome," she whispers, and I smirk; she's fucking perfect for me.
