So does Killian.
The two start pushing at each other.
“Idiots,” I say as I set my attention back to Cullen and Archer.
“Almost feels normal here,” Cullen says.
“I know what I want normal to be,” I say.
I glance at Archer.
He smirks.
From the corner of my eye I see Maz and Birdie quickly approaching.
I have athis can’t be goodfeeling going through me now.
“They don’t look too thrilled,” Archer says.
“Not at all,” I say.
They both stop and look at Archer first.
Then Cullen.
Then at me.
Maz is a little worried.
Birdie is flustered.
Blushing.
And I know that kind of blushing.
I don’t need them to say anything to me.
I know what’s happening.
Seth is here.
Chapter 23
The first thing I do is point at Cullen and Archer.
I’m about to tell them to stay put, but I know better.
They’re going to do whatever the fuck they want.
Which is probably hurry outside and attack Seth.
I rush between Maz and Birdie and work my way to the front door of the house.
I step out onto the porch and it takes me a second to find Seth.
He’s sitting in a lawn chair in the middle of the yard.
With a can of cheap beer in his hand.
