Before I have a chance to think, Seth jumps out of nowhere, smiling ear to ear.

“Seth,” I say.

“Jaci,” he says.

He moves right toward me.

“I got a perfect grade on my project,” I whisper.

“Of course you did,” he says. “You’re smart. And you have me.”

“Yeah…”

“Speaking of having me,” Seth whispers. “I’m here to collect.”

“Oh yeah?” I ask.

Seth touches my face.“I finally get to fuck you again, Jaci.”
