I stop walking and take out my phone.
I send a text.
I hear her phone beep.
She pushes from the building and strips the hood of her hoodie off her head.
She’s got beautiful black, curly hair.
Dark eyes.
A perfect complexion. High, defined cheekbones. A perfect jaw.
She’s stunning.
She’s like a model.
And the way she looks at me…
I almost feel like I know her.
Maybe I’m related to her?
There’s no way though.
We look totally opposite.
“Who are you?”
I swallow hard. “Jaci Ruby.”
“Who gave you my number.”
I open my mouth to spill Cullen’s name.
Wait…
“I can’t say,” I say. “You know why I’m here.”
“Smart,” she says. “Money?”
I nod.
She throws out a price.
I reach into my pocket and stick my hand out.
“I don’t do handshakes,” she says. “I hug.”
We get close to each other and I hug the girl.
I feel her hand slide into my pocket.
I gasp.
“Don’t worry,” she whispers. “I won’t try to take your pants off. That costs extra.”
I step back and she grabs my wrist.
