Even though I was strong, the nets were difficult to fight against.

I had been drawn to that ship because of him, I was certain of it.

Would he ask to see my cocks? Was it too soon? I could already feel how much I wanted him and I wouldn’t fight my instinct.

My body demanded that I fuck him.

Would he accept me?

I waited patiently, hoping that the answer was yes.

Matt

It wasn’t every day that you woke up breathing underwater and pinned down by an insanely sexy merman.

My lungs expanded again and my brain fought to comprehend how I was alive. I was either dead, dreaming or alive, and somehow I didn’t care which it was.

I found my eyes falling down his hard muscles to his tail behind him, to the slit at the center of his hips. It had parted slightly and I knew that he was fighting himself.

I shouldn’t have been aroused. I shouldn’t have wanted to find out why I felt this way towards him.

I should have been fighting, trying to escape.

Instead, I drew in another breath— one that was much more steady.

“Is the bond the reason I feel like this?” I whispered, gesturing to my hard cock.

“Partially. I think you might just want me though, human. I know that I want you. Every instinct in my body right now is telling me to take you.”

Fuck. I scowled. “What’s your name?”

“Delphin. What is yours?”

“Matt,” I said. “Nice to get a name first at least.”

Delphin chuckled, cocking his head as he studied me. “I knew that you were mine when I saw you. And then you saved me.”

“I…I couldn’t not save you. I’m sorry for what they did…” I trailed off, my voice choking.

I remembered seeing Ethan die.

Delphin leaned forward, cupping my face. “I’m sorry for his death. And that all of your kin are dead. My pod ate them.”

“Ate them?” I asked, horrified. “Why don’t you just eat me then?”

“You are not meant to be eaten,” Delphin scoffed like it was unthinkable. “I will not lie to you. We are monsters. Creatures of the deep. My kind has been hidden from yours for ages and doesn’t want it to change. That I have brought you here is breaking many rules. But I still know you are mine.”

I was being courted by a monster. A being that I shouldn’t have even known existed.

The fucked up thing was, I wasn’t against it even though his ‘pod’ had eaten my fellow fishermen.

“So, when you bit me, that made me be able to do this?” I asked, reaching up to touch my neck.

Delphin nodded. I realized that he looked a little different underwater than on the surface. His skin gave off a soft sheen, one that helped me see around the space we were in. He had fins that ended in feathery wisps, and his hair was long and flowing around him.

He was too beautiful to look at.

“When I bit you, I connected you to me. And now you’ll be able to breathe down here. Your body will take a little time to adjust.”
