I’m finally getting the wedding I have always wanted and walking towards a man that I absolutely love.

Not a stranger I know nothing about.

Not someone that I’m being forced to wed.

The music starts and once every single person walks down the aisle, Leo nods to me and I give him one back.

It’s time to get my happiness.

There’s a smile on my face the whole time I walk, and it grows even more when I see Santos wipe at his eyes.

I made the big broody man cry.

The second my hand is placed in his by my brother, I want to burst into tears.

After all the trials and tribulations that we have been through, we are finally here. We were finally able to get this place and I couldn’t be any happier.

Before turning to my future husband fully, I close my eyes and look up at the sky, taking a deep breath.

I open my eyes and right away I’m met with light brown eyes staring back at me, a loving smile on his lips.

He knows that I was talking to my mother. He knows that I was telling her that I love her, and how much I wish she was here.

Santos grips my hand with all his might and I can’t help but smile at him.

This is really happening.

And I will forever be.

I will love her until my last breath and beyond.

I will try my hardest to be every single thing that she deserves.

I will kill for her.

Everything that I do from this day forward is to keep this woman safe and alive.

Even with every single obstacle that we face and that includes her father.

But soon we will be free. We will be able to live normal lives and be able to love each other with all our might.

Today, as I said my vows and slid the ring on her finger, I did the one thing that I wanted to do since I was eighteen-years-old.
