He tosses it to the side and places his hands either side of my head, leaning over me to pin my eyes with his. “Tell me where you've been.”

“No.”

His nostrils flare and I can tell he doesn't like that word. The spoiled fucker's probably not used to hearing it but that's not my problem, nor do I care at this point.

“Where is it?”

“Where's what?”

He seethes and I'm right there with him, growling impatiently and fighting them again because it's all I've got and I might as well do something. I don't miss the slight grin on his lips at my burning anger, though, which only pisses me off even more.

“Damon, I swear to god-”

“Found it.” One of the twins cuts me off, pulling a solid gold Rolex from beneath the mattress I sleep on.

He tosses it to Damon and I pull my head back, frowning.

The fuck?

“Damn.” The other one shakes his head, pulling out a hundred dollar bill to toss it at his twin.

“Told you.” He grins, clicking his tongue and shaking his head at me. “Bad sister.”

My brows raise at that and I look at Damon, opening and closing my mouth a couple times because I have no clue what to say. “I..”

They must read the genuine shock on my face because in this moment, they all look as confused as I feel.

That doesn't last long, though.

Their expressions quickly turn to stone and I can tell exactly what they're thinking but not saying. I'm the poor, white trash piece of shit who's living it up in their big ass house with all this expensive shit just lying around for the taking. If I'm a thief in their eyes, that also makes me a master manipulator.

They think I'm faking it.

Damon glares, still leaning over me. “You not even gonna try and deny it?”

I laugh lightly, raising a brow. “Would you honestly believe anything I say to you?”

“Not a chance.”

I lick my lips, nodding. “Get out.”

He bounces his eyes between mine a moment, searching, then he surprises the fuck out of me when he climbs off me to as he's told, tipping his chin at his little brothers to do the same. The three of them leave without sparing me a second glance and I release the breath I was holding, dropping my head back on the sheet to stare at the ceiling a while.

Someone stole Damon's watch from his room and planted it in this one, knowing he'd come in here and find it. There are six people living in this house, only four of them I know for sure didn't do it. Elijah has no motive as far as I know which leaves me with the evil little snake herself. She's fucking with me and trying to turn them against me. Not that it matters much because it's not like they were all too fond of me to begin with but still, I can't help but wonder..

Why?

Chapter 10

Damon

She comes here every night.

Every night without fail, she walks to the corner shop down the street to grab a bag full of snacks and takes them home to stuff her face while smoking a joint or three.

How she has a body like that when she eats nothing but shit, no fucking clue.

“Why doesn't she just order room service like a normal person?” Kai frowns, leaning his elbows on the front seats from the back seat of my car.
