I slide my arm around her waist and lead her through the embassy and into the bar. I pause and lean into her ear. "Do you drink alcohol, ma belle?"
She shakes her head. "No."

"Answer him and look up," I order her.

"Let's go in," I say. I grip the curve of her waist and lead her to the private room. It's not as big as the previous night. There's room for fifty guests. Gustave and Bernadette are at a table with William and Louis. Each of them has a girl I've not seen before next to them, but they look like identical twins. They have reddish-brown hair, brown eyes, ivory skin, and red lips.
