“Whatever I want?” I cry out.
“Yep. Have at it. Whatever you want to get, buy.” He grins.
Okay, I’m just going to ask him.
“Do you have unlimited resources or something?”
He leans into my ear. “I have a secret to tell you.”
“What’s that?”
“I’m a billionaire.”
“A billionaire!” I cry out again.
“Glad we’re in my house and not public. Don’t spread it around.”
My face flushes. “Sorry.”
“It’s okay. Why are you staring like that?”
“Are you teasing me or telling the truth?”
“Have I ever lied to you?”
I don’t have to think about that. “No.”
“There’s your answer.”
I try to process it. “That’s a lot of zeros.”
He laughs. “Yep.”
“So, you really want me to buy whatever I think you need.”
He pulls me into him. “That and whatever you want for yourself…”
“Whatever I want for myself?” I cry out again.
“Yeah. The card is yours. Use it.”
“Ummm…no.”
“No?”
“No. I can buy my own stuff.”
“Yeah, I know you can, but you don’t have to.”
“I’ll buy stuff for you with it, but that’s it.”
“Does that include things for my benefit?” He wiggles his brows.
“Ha! I can buy that with my own money.”
He brushes my hair off my face. “Seriously, Vivian. Use the card for whatever. Don’t think twice about it.”
“You already gave me a foundation. I think we’re good for a while.”
