All the rage I've bottled up comes bursting out. I pull my arm back, make a fist, and swing. My knuckles connect with his cheek, but he turns his face, so it barely connects and doesn't do the damage I intended.

"Enough!" Dante shouts, pulling Gianni back while Tristano tugs at my arms.

"Get off me!" I order, yanking my limbs, but he has a strong grasp on me.

"Calm down!" he commands.

I escape his hold and spin, landing a punch on Tristano's bicep.

"What the fuck, Massimo!" he declares. His eyes turn cold. He rushes at me, and I lose my balance, taking him to the floor.

The next few minutes are chaos. My brothers and I are all screaming at each other while trying to throw punches.

"Enough!" Papà's voice rips through the air, but we don't stop. He continues screaming at us, yet none of us back down.

Men pull us apart, and it's only after I'm pinned to the ground that I realize it's the O'Connor brothers.

"You boys still have a lot of fight in you." Tully's Irish accent hits my ears.

I scowl at Brody, who has his arm across my throat. I choke out, "Get off me."

His brother Tynan tugs my arms over my head.

"I'm going to kill you," I threaten.

"Easy," he mutters.

"Get up. Now!" Papà orders.

Slowly, we all rise. Blood continues to pulse hotly through my veins. My brothers glare at me, and I return their angry stares.

"What is this about?" Papà demands.

No one speaks. The tension builds in the air. I cross my arms and refrain from leaving the room. I don't need another lecture from Papà about anything, either. Lately, it seems like all my family wants to do is tell me how they don't like my decisions. I'd happily run to my wing of the house, but that would be a cowardly move, and I'm not a chicken.

"Sorry, but can you deal with your family drama later? I've got things to do today," Devin states.

Tully flings his hand across Devin's head.

"Ow! What was that for?"

Tully points in his face. "Figure it out."

"Why are you all here? Bridget has already left to take the kids to school. Are you here to see her?" Dante asks, glancing at each O'Connor.

"No. You're all the reason I'm here. It seems we have a little issue to discuss," Tully states, his eyes turning into green slits.

Gianni scrubs his face. "What would that be? I don't have time for your games today, Tully."

Papà warns, "Do not disrespect Tully. And leave your cockiness out of this discussion."

"Well, don't let us waste any more of your time. Spit it out," Gianni challenges, his expression hardening.

"Don't push me right now," Papà cautions.

I shift on my feet as the room turns silent, waiting for Tully or Papà to tell us the reason for their visit. My brothers and I have so many different issues we're dealing with right now, I have no clue what he wants to discuss.

Tully questions, "Whose idea was it to utilize my property?"
