I smiled at them as I attached it.

“Thank you, boys. This is simply beautiful. Are you hungry?” They both nodded. “Let’s go eat.”

I took out the phone and called Gleb and another man I had just met, Stephan, both in charge of my and the boys’ protection. Then, I gathered up my stuff and walked to the elevator with the boys.

I listened to them as they chatted about their day, even though I had spent the entirety of it with them, and smiled along when their voices got louder, and their laughter became more frequent.

I didn’t think I had ever fallen in love so fast, but I had loved them at first sight.

* * *

It wasafter dinner when my men finally came home.

The boys and I were all cuddled on the couch, watching Toy Story, which I learned they had never seen.

They didn’t talk much about their time with their mom. In fact, I didn’t think I had heard them call out for her or say they missed her even once.

I didn’t know how Nikolay could have fallen in love with a woman as cold as Alina, and I didn’t like to think that perhaps, she had been his first love.

The insecure part of me wondered if he still loved her.

I hoped not.

We all turned to the elevator doors when they opened, and the boys jumped off the couch. “Daddy!”

I watched with a smile as they ran to Nikolay and hugged him quickly before moving to Damien and Mikhail and hugging them, too.

I never thought I’d see the day when my men became soft, but they were with the boys, and it only made me love them more.

It made me want them more.

I squirmed in my seat on the couch, and Damien caught me. His expression turned knowing, and I looked away, smiling a little, before getting up.

I walked up to Nikolay first, since he was closest to me and was currently not surrounded by either Konstantin or Dmitriy.

“Welcome home,” I said. I hesitated before continuing, “I missed you.”

He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me tightly into his body. I felt his lips against my neck, and I smiled a little.

“I missed you, too, princess. Sorry we had to leave you home for so long.”

I shook my head. “I know you guys are busy. Though I wished Damien had taken some time to rest more.”

“Yeah, like that would have happened. The man is stubborn.”

“Must be in the water around here,” I commented drily.

Nikolay looked at me with amused eyes. “Princess. Did you just make a joke?”

I bit my bottom lip to keep from giggling like a schoolgirl in love—I was an adult.

Nikolay grinned and ran his fingers up and down my sides, tickling me.

I ended up laughing anyway, struggling to get away from him.

After hearing the commotion, Dmitriy and Konstantin ran over to us and tugged on Nikolay’s shirt.

“Tickle us next, Daddy,” Konstantin said, a tinge of shyness in his voice.
