Page 57 of Fall into Savagery

Carefully, I slid into his arms.

He had one hand on my butt, and the other moved inside my shirt, seeking out one of my breasts. I gasped when he found my nipple.

My wide eyes met his dark, glinting ones.

“Do you really think we should do this now? You’re healing,” I choked out when I felt him twirl my nipple around his fingers.

“What are we doing?” Nikolay asked, looking over at us, his eyes focused intently on what Damien’s hand was doing, as if he had x-ray vision and could see through my shirt.

I shot him a disgruntled look.

“Pet, it’s been a week since I had you like this. We can’t do more than this, so I’m going to touch you as much as possible.”

He twisted my nipple and pulled.

My mouth opened, but nothing came out.

His eyes smiled at me before turning to Mikhail, who had been silent throughout this entire exchange. A quick look told me he wasn’t unaffected.

“Catch me up.”

Mikhail nodded and cleared his throat. And then he told Damien all that had gone on since his capture. Most of the information he relayed to Damien was new information to me, like that Nikolay had put out a million-dollar bounty on the Blood Nation Sinners’ traitors.

Others weren’t so new.

Nikolay cleared his throat, and we all looked at him. “I found them,” he said.

Mikhail smiled beside me, and I frowned, trying to figure out who thethemhe was talking about until I remembered he had gone to Texas with Gabriel.

“Your sons?” I asked.

Nikolay smiled at me. “Yeah. They’re staying on the floor beneath us. I’ll bring them up to introduce to everyone as soon as we get all this shit sorted out.”

“Oh, Nikolay. That’s so great.”

He nodded as he looked at me, though I thought there was a shadow that crossed over his eyes. “They’ve been through some shit. They’re pretty wary of everyone, and it took me a while to get them to even trust me. We’ll have to be careful with them.”

I nodded. Of course, we would.

And I couldn’t wait to meet them.

I turned to Mikhail and smiled.

Damien shifted a little before he spoke. His fingers were now clasping firmly on my nipple, not moving.

I didn’t know if I liked it like this or if I wished he would move them.

“We should talk about resuming our hits on Agnello’s operation.”

His words took me out of my thoughts, and I focused back on him.

His eyes took me in as he continued to speak. “I think it’s time we hit directly where it’ll hurt him. The Mexican Cartels. It’s time to help Gabriel get his empire back.”

Mikhail nodded. “And you’ll never guess what we found at the barn they kept you at.”

He and Nikolay shared a smile as Damien asked. “What?”

“Luca’s stash.”
