She glared at him.
“Glaring is worth five spanks, so now you’re on fifteen. Want some more?”
“No.” She resisted the urge to poke out her bottom lip. “I don’t.”
“Good, now lie on the bed.”
She did as he’d asked, wondering if perhaps she should have gone for a pee to buy some thinking time.
“Arms above your head.”
“Fuck! What?”
“Did you just question me?”
“No.”
“You did, which makes twenty-five, goes up fast, doesn’t it.” He held the cuffs over her face. “You have to earn my trust, Ava. And until that happens and as I have to be gone for an hour, you need securing.”
Quick as a flash, and in a well-practiced movement, he harnessed her wrists in not just the cuffs, but also through a slat in the headboard.
“Hey.” She twisted and yanked her arms. She was well and truly stuck. “What the hell? An hour. And I’m supposed to just lie here?”
“Why? Is that a problem?”
“It’s really bloody boring, Griff. Just staring at the ceiling.” She scowled.
“Boring?” He raised his eyebrows. “Resting in your own thoughts is boring?”
“Yeah, it is.” She banged her heels on the mattress in frustration and yanked the headboard again. Surely she’d find a way to escape.
“In that case.” He sat next to her, the bed dipping. “I’ll give you something to think about.”
He curled his fingers beneath her t-shirt and raised the material up and over her braless breasts.
The air breezed over her nipples and they tingled. “What the…?”
“I really wouldn’t want you to be bored, Ava.” An infuriating smirk crossed his face then he dipped forward and took her left nipple into his warm, wet mouth.
She gasped, her eyes widening and her arms tensing.
He circled his tongue around her hardening peak, sucking gently.
“Griff.” She stared at his dark hair. “What are you…?”
He lifted. “You’ll see.”
Switching to the opposite nipple, he treated that to the same expert attention.
She groaned, her back arching as sweet delight flickered over her chest.
After a few heavenly seconds he tweaked both nipples, pinching their hard wet points. “That should do it.”
Her breaths had quickened, and she watched as he leaned to the bedside drawer and opened it.
He pulled something small and metallic out, held it up.
“What’s… that?” she asked, then gulped. She knew full well what it was, but she’d never used one.
