“You just get turned on when I tackle bad guys to the ground.”
He laughed quietly. “Maybe that’s true.” He paused, then, “Want to fuck?”
I raised my eyebrows. “In here?”
He slid his arms around my waist and ducked his head to mine. “Yeah, it’s got everything we need.”
“We as in me and you, or…”
“We as inallof us.”
I swallowed and glanced at the huge bed on the stage. The covers were smooth and flat. It seemed the performers preferred the other equipment up there.
Fuck all four of my men at the same time?
I couldn’t deny the thought thrilled me even though it made me nervous. Could I handle them all at once? “Someone might come in.”
“The uniforms have gone and I locked the door.”
“Presumptuous.”
“Hopeful.” He swept his lips over mine.
I sank against him. Jonathan had the ability to turn me on with just a few words. And he always pushed me, just a little bit. I liked that, it kept life interesting.
“I won’t collar you,” he said. “You’ll be in total control, I promise you that.”
“You really want to do this?”
“I know you love Ricardo, and I know you have a hot new connection with Sean and Balko.”
“Balko?” How did he know that?
“I’m not stupid. Neither is Ricardo—we can see the signs. And let’s face it, it was only a matter of time before you completed your control over your team.”
“I guess it didn’t take much time.” Damn, it was impossible to keep anything from lovers when they were shit-hot detectives.
“Life is too short to wait around. We of all people know that.”
“True.”
“So what do you think?”
I wanted to, I really did. But…
“I’ll make sure it’s good for you,” he whispered. “I always do, don’t I?”
“Yes.”
Ricardo, Sean and Balko were looking my way. I guessed they’d caught the gist of our conversation.
“Look at them,” Jonathan said. “Lovesick puppies.”
I laughed. “There’s nothing cute and cuddly about any of them.”
“So it’s a yes?”
I hesitated, then, “Yes, let’s do this.”
