“Deciding whose shelter you should sleep in tonight, Ingrid,” Tali said.

She laughed as Erik wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her close. “That is for me to decide.” She set her hand on Erik’s chest. “Wouldn’t you agree, Jarl Erik?”

“Ja.” Erik swept his lips over hers. “It is up to you, my little shield maiden.”

“What... what happened over there?” Gunnvar flicked his finger between Erik and Ingrid and then nodded at the headland.

“We...” Ingrid couldn’t contain the smile that tugged her lips. “I gave Erik my maidenhead.”

“Lucky Erik.” Gunnvar raised his eyebrows.

“I am Jarl,” Erik said. “And it was Ingrid’s wish.”

“Ja, it was.” She extracted herself from Erik and took both Gunnvar’s and Tali’s hands. “But that doesn’t alter my feelings for you both. I...”

“You what?” Tali asked, squeezing her fingers and a hopeful flicker crossing his eyes.

“I still want you both. I want all of you.”

“You have all of us.” Gunnvar reached out, curled his arm around her waist, and snapped her close. “And we have you.”

“Ja.”

He set a hard fast kiss on her lips and she sagged against him. The next thing she knew Tali was also wrapping his arms around her. She sought his mouth, kissed him, then returned to Gunnvar.
