She cut me off, the confusion lifting like a veil from her face. “Bull, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to remind you of Merrie, and I can understand if you want me to disappear.” Lily rubs over her thumb a few times, clearly rattled by my sudden departure. “I don’t have so much confidence, I guess.” She stares up at the ceiling, inhaling a deep sigh. “Too sheltered. I’ve been too controlled for so long. I’ve been living in fear for my whole life. I’ve felt like I don’t deserve the life I want. My father made it that way, so when you walked out…” She fumbled her fingers around and I seized them, wanting to express what lay in my stony heart.

“Lily, no, no, it’s not at all like that. That’s not who you are,” I say passionately, never letting my eyes leave hers. “I see a strong, confident woman who’s going to conquer the world. I don’t want you to go anywhere. You don’t know how lucky I feel to have you.” I convince her with fervor, riding in the crest of my voice.

I can’t take it. She has to give me her lips. I plunder my mouth into hers, sinking my nostalgic feelings into the kiss. She stirs with a whimper, her mouth hot and oh so wet.

Her arms reach up to cradle my neck as I drag her body close to mine. My cock wants to party, but a voice drags me out of the kiss, startling and angering me. I draw back, Lily’s eyes opening wide at the untimed disruption. I see her lick her lips and from her mesmerized eyes, I can tell I’ve had the desired effect on her.

I’m interrupted by a hot under the collar Sledge. “Yo, Bull, we need to talk.”

“I’m busy right now, so I don’t see what’s to talk about,” I hit back with an attitude. I’m certain I was minutes away from securing the police pussy from Lily.

“Too bad. The crew wants to talk to you about a few things and it’s really important.” Sledge rakes a hand through his rock star hair. I want to thump up the side of it, but I contain my rage, adjusting my cock along the way.

Striding reluctantly beside Sledge, my mind is on Lily. Sweet ass Lily.I approach the booth where Slash, Psych, and Snatch are sitting. As soon as Slash’s eyes connect with mine, the fuckery starts.

He turns his hand up at me with a sarcastic sneer. “Are you seriously fucking a cop who’s young enough to be your daughter at the clubhouse while we have all this fucking heat on us? You sure you got the best interest of the club at heart, boomer? Or are you just trying to whack off a Viagra? ’Cause the shit you’re pulling is gonna get the entire club taken down.” He looks around the booth for silent confirmation and the urge to send an open-palmed slap to the back of his head is one hundred percent what I want to do.

Psych chimes in with his bullshit too. “She’s a fuckin’ cop, man!”

I knuckle up, ready to punch these short-sighted fucks in the throat one by one. “Ever heard of leverage, fellas? I told you we need intel on the Sheriff. She’s gonna help us,” I grunt, glaring at each of them.

Snatch decides to add his points, which are fucking irrelevant since he’s the one who forgot to register his gun. “We have my brother on the inside. There’s no need for this shit, Bull. The president of the Savage Outlaws is dead too. Lara killed him; you are ill-informed. The entire club will be in disarray. You don’t need to do this shit.”

The information about Lara shocks me, but I don’t give a fuck. This club needs a lesson in game tactics.

Psych, with his empathetic whining, shakes his head at me. “You’re a heartless prick, Bull. You had that girl in tears just now.” He skulks off in judgment. Zero fucks given.

Sledge is the only one with some common sense but tells me cold. “I don’t trust her. She’s a pig. You think you’re playing her? She’s more likely playing you.” His arms are spread out across the leather booth, and they underestimate my pussy powers.

“She’s loyal. I know how to tap into her. We got a lot in common,” I sputter out.

“We need proof of loyalty, Bull. Get it and then we’ll believe it. We’ve been nice enough, but she’s cramping our style hanging around the club. I want her to delete the incriminating videos against the MC from the Sheriff’s database. Can she do that?” Sledge challenges. “Nowthatshit will prove she’s loyal.”

“Fuck yeah. That’s what she has to do.” Slash, the dummy, thumps his palm on the table.

“No, that’s stupid. Too far,” I punch back. “It’s unnecessary. Let me handle it the way I do.”

“I don’t know why you’re trying to act self-righteous now, Bull. You don’t give a fuck about the girl. A cop? Man, you’re reaching right now,” Psych has a nerve to say.

“Psych, I fucking raised you, you’re alive and at this club because of me and Axe. You would do well to keep your trapdoor shut.”

Psych’s orbs charge up and I hold my position. There’s a reason he’s got that name, and I’m not trying to fight him today. It’s not like I can’t take him either, but I’m not about to let him fuck up the game plan.

“Bull. You might wanna listen to what Slash has to say,” he warns darkly, cracking his knuckles.

“You want her here, Bull, those are the conditions,” Slash issues ruthlessly. “Let’s see if you have what it takes to run this club, boomer.” This bitch has no authority to lie down a gauntlet to me. I’m betting he can’t even clean his dirty drawers. He’s the reckless clown that went to prison.

“Challenge accepted, Slash. Just make sure you have your tissues ready for when I win. If I want her to delete the records, she’ll do it. Trust me.”

Slash shakes his head as all the others stay in what I deem to be silent alliance with him, but by the time I’m done, they won’t be. “You heard what I said, boomer. Nobody wants a cop up in here.”

“Should have thought about that before you brought a Savage Outlaws daughter up in this bitch. You can’t be saying shit,” I shoot back, referring to Snatch.

“The president is dead, so it’s been a snatch of the year if you ask me,” Snatch says without looking up.

“Let’s get those tapes, boomer. How about it?” Slash confirms.

“Done,” I say, storming off.
