Slither’s eyes were the same color as a snake, and when he held the base of my jaw at the bar, I feared he would break it. Instead, he stuck that bourbon-flavored ashtray of a tongue down my throat and gripped my ass. I let him for a minute and then pushed back in retreat as I wiped the assholery off my mouth.
“So, what are you back for?”
“Baby, chill out. I want to finish my bar shifts, the ones I wanted to do. I’m an Outlaw, what the hell do you mean why I am I back? Let’s do a line beforehand. How ‘bout it? For old times’ sake.”
He’d chuckled in a devious way.“Good, I like it.”He called one of the prospects to get the blow. As soon as the line hit his nose, I pretended to snort the same amount, but his attention span was lacking anyway.
“So, you got them suckers good, huh? Stole their drugs. Nice.”
I didn’t do the full line, but by then, just like the jackass he was, he gave up the location.
“Yeah, they’re so dumb, we know they work with the Cardez boys. We got the drugs in the old warehouse right off Turnpike. You know that old, abandoned warehouse we stopped using? We doubled back since it’s not a hot location. The cops are off our ass for now. We plan to get into distribution soon, so we should be good. Nice fucking haul, too. No work for us and a massive payday.”
“Uh huh, I know the one. Sure that’s a good spot?”
“Shut up. I know what I’m doing. We already moved it once.”
Thinking back, it was bananas that he told me at all. His lips got to jabbering, he was so high, and I wasn’t. I don’t get why he didn’t catch on. Too drug-fucked, I guessed. As soon as he started to fade, I fed him more drugs and he started to space out.
“Oh, come on Slither, you can do another line, you’re losing your touch. What can’t hold your drugs, baby?”
I had to come on to him a little and stroke his fragile ego, and that was bad enough. Made my skin crawl, but I took one for the team. That’s when he nodded off and I got Slash and Fiona to come get me.
I refocused on Sean. I put the ice pack down and softly spoke into Sean’s chest. “Do you want to come to my room?” The last thing I want to enter my brain is Slither Road. I forever want to forget that man and all the hurt, abuse, and betrayal he put me through. He is dead to me.
“Hell yeah. You staying here at the clubhouse rooms? I hope you got a lock for your door. Sometimes these guys can knock around when they’re drunk and enter the wrong room.”
“I have a lock Sean, you might want to keep it down, last time you were a little loud,” I chuckle, letting the ball of knots in my stomach go. I hated being apart from Sean. It’s the last thing I wanted, but it gave me time to think about what I wanted from my life and from Sean.
I want a family, a person, a place that I can call home.
Sean snorted as he kissed my ear. “Me? Sweetheart, that was you moaning and groaning, but I’m happy to be of service. I wanna make you do that a lot, a lot, a lot. Come on before Slash tries to call us to head out. This bulletproof vest is annoying. He was acting like we’re going right now.”
I take his hand silently and lead him to the large room I’ve been gifted with. There’s only a few, and mostly there for the crew if they want to stay over in the clubhouse, but I’m a permanent fixture until I figure out what to do and get a job. I don’t want to be at the clubhouse the whole time; it’s a little eerie because bikers target the club. I’m used to living with Slither at his house or with my father, so it’s different, but it’s tight security here, so I feel safe enough.
As we get inside, I can make out Sean in the shadows. His face is dripping with desire, and all I want are those hands all over my body. Sean reaches for me through the dark.
“It’s been hell not being able to talk to you the last couple of days. I’m such an idiot.” He peppers my mouth with short kisses. Enough I can taste him, sending tingles from the base of my spine all the way to my head.
“I won’t disagree.” I crack a small smile as I slide my hands into the back pockets of his jeans as our mouths sync together. We’re back. Locked in our own world, it’s pain-free here. A type of peaceful ecstasy in his arms. I move my hands up to the vest and unstrap the Velcro. “Let’s put this over here.”
“Good plan.”
I strip him of his T-shirt and splay my hands over his whole chest of tattoos. The man is insanely sexy and sweet all in the same hypnotizing breath. “How are you so hot right now?”
“I could ask you the same thing. Let’s get your top off. I want you.” His low, smooth voice turns me on and all I can feel is heat enveloping my body. He lifts my tank over my head and unbuttons my jeans as I step out of them. I’m left standing in my black underwear.
“I’m all yours.”
Sean’s pupils show me his lust as he kisses the nape of my neck and traces a line across my collarbone. So delicate. So light, but oh, so necessary. I let out deep sigh.
“That’s a good start, my love.”
Gently, he drops one side of my bra strap as his hands cup the underneath of my breasts. My nipples are hard, and I desperately need his mouth there. He drops his head as his silky black hair brushes over my bare flesh. His teeth tug lightly on my erect nipple, and I gasp, letting my head hang back. His tantalizing touch makes me sensitive and every part of me is lit on fire by him.Sean is the one.I’ve never felt like this before. No one has made love to me—they might have fucked me, but never made love.
Once he’s finished with one, he slides a trail with his tongue over to the other one. This. This is what I’ve ached for. He moves back up while he cups my ass, drawing me closer in, so I can feel his hot breath against my flesh. I roll my fingers through the strands of his hair. He’s all leather and soap, and damn, I love this man.
He kisses the bruising on my cheek; he’s timid with it, careful not to hurt me. He stops to check, looking me in the eye.
