“It’s probably in the breakfast nook—but Drew, wait.” Hopping down off the island, she places a hand on my arm, then quickly pulls it away, her cheeks once again turning a delightful shade of pink.

God, why is her embarrassment such a turn-on? But God help me, it is.

“Yes, Anna?”

“Umm, you aren’t going to go over there like that, are you? It’s not like it’s an emergency. You could still shower.”

I nearly reply that yes, itisa fucking emergency. The sooner I get the damn book to Elijah, the sooner I can spread Anna’s soft thighs and taste what’s mine. Unfortunately, she has a point. A shower wouldn’t be amiss. Acoldshower.

“Fine, angel, I’ll rinse off first. But the moment I get back, I’m eating your delicious little pussy.”

What I don’t add isafter I punish you for lying. Because while I suspect Anna will very much enjoy a thorough spanking, shelikely won’t understand that about herself without a practical demonstration.

Hell, the fact that she just turned even pinker at being told that I intend to eat her out is proof that she has no idea what she’s capable of handling.

That’s all right, though. I intend to show her. Even if her innocent embarrassment has me struggling not to throw her over my shoulder and carry her upstairs. But as tempting as the idea is, I don’t want to rush her first time—ourfirst time—and she has me in such a frenzy that I nearly just did. So though it nearly kills me, I tear myself away from my sexy nanny and head upstairs.

ChapterSix

Anna

Head still spinning,I rinse off the cutting board after Drew goes upstairs. As I place it on the drying rack, I catch a glimpse of myself in the window above the sink. My lips are swollen, but otherwise my appearance is unchanged. Yet deep down, I know I’m not the same, that I’ll never be the same.

Drew Chase just kissed me.

As impossible as that seems, it really happened. It happened, and it was nothing like my fantasies. It was so much more.

I’m not completely innocent. I’ve kissed boys. But Drew’s kiss made a mockery of that adolescent fumbling. Those kisses weren’t even in the same league as what we just did.

Even now, he’s all I can think about. But my thoughts are too tinged with lust to make any sense. Desperate for a distraction, I look for something else to clean, but Sylvia is too good at her job. The kitchen is spotless.

Upstairs, the shower turns on. Envisioning Drew’s naked body beneath the spray, I grow more restless. All I can think about are his fingers inside me, his mouth on mine.

To help calm myself, I grab a hard seltzer from the refrigerator. Perched on a stool in the breakfast nook, I sip it, struggling to process everything that’s happened. One minute Drew was teasing me about my package, and the next—

My package!

For one panicked moment, I nearly think Drew took it upstairs. But then I see it on the counter and breathe a sigh of relief. Relief that’s quickly replaced with raw need.

Just moments ago, I was closer to coming than I’ve ever been in my life. So close, that I nearly begged Drew to stay. But Elijah needs him to be his dad right now not my daddy. I can wait.

Except the screwed-up, oversexed part of me doesn’t want to wait. It’sinsisting that I need to get off ASAP—with or without Drew. My thoughts return to my new toy.

Drew’s bedroom is just down the hall from mine. Trying to sneak the package up there is risky. Opening it while he’s still home is out of the question.

But that freakish, broken part of me is insisting I do just that while he’s still in the shower. It’s reckless, but the more I think about it, the more tempted I am.

Because if I thought I was sexually frustrated before, well now? I feel as if I’ll die if I don’t come. Drew awakened all my nerve endings, and they don’t seem to have gotten the memo that the fun is over.

I don’t dare use the toy while he’s still in the house and awake, but taking it out of the packaging now will save time later…

Decision made, I grab the box and dart upstairs. When I reach my room, I slice the package open with a nail file. Inside is another box that I easily open. Hands shaking, I remove a slender wand from its depths.

I press a button near its flared base. Nothing happens.

Crap! All that anticipation and they sent me a dud?

Then I notice writing on the box: “AAA batteries not included.”
