“I’m impressed,” he cooed into her ear as he slowly undid the tie and she all but collapsed into his arms. “But I don’t think you will be able to hold out.” He carried her over to the desk and faced her away from him.
Sam was still panting. She hadn't yet caught her breath, but he was pushing her forward and then she was laying face down on top of the weekend schedules. He grabbed her wrists and pulled them behind her back as he tied them together once more.
“Just tell me to stop and I will.”
She nodded.
There was no warning. In one swift move, he separated her legs and slammed directly into her.
She lost the bet.
Her scream of pleasure was so loud there was no way it wasn't heard by at least a few patrons and staff. But he didn’t stop. He wrapped his hand around to cover her mouth and stifle what noise he could as he pounded into her again and again. She knew they should probably slow down or hold off until they were home, but they were both too far gone to end this without definite release.
She collapsed into his lap when it was over.
She had no idea how she was ever going to show her face out there again. If their relationship was a secret before tonight, it definitely wasn’t anymore.
“You might need to fire me.” Her words came in pants.
He laughed into her hair. “And why would I do that?”
“I don’t think I can work here anymore. Each time I come into this building I’ll remember what you just did to me, and then I won’t be able to focus.”
“Maybe we should just make this a nightly, after-work ritual.”
Chapter 54 - Sam
“Callum?” Kristin called out from across the boy's kitchen table as Sam nudged him in the shoulder. He had been so focused on his phone he hadn’t even heard her.
He jerked his head up from his phone. “What?”
“I asked when our next Charleston trip was going to happen. I didn't get to take Sam shopping everywhere I wanted to, and now that it’s officially summer...” Kristin gave him a pleading smile.
They hadn’t again broached the subject of his family, and she wasn’t quite sure what his relationship was like with his mother. He periodically mentioned her in passing, and she figured they must speak being as the beach house was technically his parents’ and not his, but she was filled with curiosity on how exactly that relationship worked.
He shook his head and looked between the two girls. “Just name the date and I’ll make it happen.”
Kristin looked back at Sam. “I’m definitely going to enjoy the perks of you dating a guy who has a beach house.”
Sam burst out laughing.
Kristin continued, “By the way, shouldn’t you be thanking me?”
Callum quirked a brow in confusion.
“Thanking you for what?”
Kristin shoved a piece of the garlic bread into her mouth. It didn’t stop her from talking.
“I’m the one who bought Sam those unmentionables.”
Sam’s face went bright red.
“I heard you thoroughly enjoyed them.” Kristin winked.
“What are you talking about?” Micah chimed in, half oblivious to anything other than the delicious pasta sitting on his plate.
“Nothing,” Sam quickly interjected. “She is talking about nothing,” she said through gritted teeth and a pleading smile, begging her friend not to continue.
