“Callum?”

“Yeah.”

“Let me pay this time. Please?”

He waited for just a moment before he slid his wallet back into his pocket. “Just this once. Okay.”

“Yes, sir.” She over emphasized the words and swore she saw Callum’s eyes darken ashade.

*******

“You are going to ruin your clothes!” Sam laughed out loud as Callum tilted his head back in order to catch all the falling cheese and sauce from the slice he had positioned in the air.

He shrugged his shoulders just as a splatter of red sauce hit his collar. “It’s a black shirt.”

Sam laughed again.

She was happy.

Despite all that had happened over the last week. Despite losing a portion of her funding, and going through all the emotions that came along with that. Despite how Christian basically left her to fend for herself after the meeting. Despite her self-thrown pity party that had occurred the following days.

Sam was happy.

“Just try it.” Callum pinched off a portion of his slice with both pineapple and chicken on top.

“I don’t know. It just feels wrong.” Sam scrunched up her nose.

He lowered his voice. “If you try this, I promise to spend an hour with my face between your legs tonight.”

Sam cut her eyes upward then smirked. “Callum. Let's behonest. You are going to spendat leastan hour with your facebetween my legs no matter what I do.”

He narrowed his eyes. “This is true.”

“But I guess I’ll try it anyway.” She reached out to snag the piece from his grasp and popped it into her mouth.

She moaned in delight. Callum’s eyes darkened.

“You’re right. This is good.” She moaned once more. “But it still doesn’t beat pepperoni.” She slowly licked each one of her fingers.

“Sam.” Her name was a blatant warning on his lips.

He wiped his fingers with a napkin and suddenly got up and came to her side of the booth.

“Pepperoni is still better,” she repeated with a smile. “Do you want a piece of mine?” Sam questioned as he slid in beside her,

“I want a piece of you,” he murmured into her hair and ran his fingertips across the skin of her thigh.

“Callum.”Her eyes went wide when his hand slipped under the hem to skirt the side of the barely there fabric.

“I can’t stop thinking about you in this.” He teased the side of the fabric.

“It’s supposed to be a treat for later. You are being bad.” She was breathless.

“I was never very good with patience. And besides, I’m always bad.”

Sam swallowed and stifled a moan when his fingers reached the area of missing material. He nuzzled into her neck.

“Are you always this wet for me, baby?”
