“You want more?” He pulled back from kissing her with excitement in his eyes.

“Please.” She wasn’t sure how she was even able to form the word at that point. It must have been sheer reflex, because her brain was definitely not functioning.

He slid out slowly one more time before hitching her leg higher in the air.

“I can’t wait to hear you scream my name.”

Suddenly, he became a beast. With every thrust, she was melting further into him. Her skin began to tingle, and that slow pulsing throb in her core turned almost violent. That emptiness was now gone, and in its place was a fullness she’d never known she needed. She arched her body into his with each movement, desperate for more.

She was so close. She was teetering on the edge with no idea how to fall.

Then he reached between them to rub her on that one spot where her entire world began and ended, and her vision splintered in two as she screamed out his name over and over again.

Her name was a breath on his lips as he fell apart directly after her.

They were a mess of sweat and heaving breaths.

At some point, he had pulled her on top of him, and she was lulled into a gentle calm by the sound of his beating heart. There was a sudden new ache within her that she had never known. The kind that she knew would only ever be satiated by him.

She played with the damp tendrils of his hair that were draped across his shoulder. And without notice, she burst out in the biggest grin against his chest.

“What?” Callum questioned, still trying to catch his breath.

“Is it normally that good?”

“No. It’s not. At least it never has been for me.” He pulled her up to him then and placed a gentle kiss on her temple and then her nose, each cheek and then finally her lips. Then he buried his hands in her hair. “Are you in pain?”

“Not really.”

He pulled back then to look her more fully in the eye, silently pleading for her to tell the truth.

“I’m sore and kind of achy, but trust me when I tell you it is one hundred percent worth it, and I want to do it a million more times.” Her face turned red with the admission.

He kissed the tip of her nose and shifted them slightly, cocooning his body around hers.

“Can we do that again?” She shuffled against him, feeling the definite soreness starting to set in and added, “Maybe a little later.” She turned back to face him, an almost drunkenly giddy expression on her face.

Callum burst into a fit of laughter.

“Yeah, baby. We can do that again. But in the meantime, there are a lot of other things we can do that won’t make you more sore.”

“I think I would like that very much.”

And then they did.

Chapter 46 - Sam

The sound of cars pulling away from the house was what finally dragged them back to reality. Callum reached over to check his phone and groaned when he noticed it was already past seven in the morning. They had spent more hours of the night wrapped up in each other than actually sleeping.

“Good morning,” Sam whispered into his chest.

“Good morning.” Callum’s voice was deep, and groggy, and sexy as hell.

“Do you think they heard us?” Sam asked as she peeked open her eyes to note that the sun had now fully risen.

Callum laughed into her hair as he tightened his hold around her middle and pulled her to him.
