“I’d be honored,” I told her honestly. “Of course, I’ll be there.”
“Well, if you go to hers, then you’ll have to go to all of ours,” Sloane insisted.
My brows rose. “Are you all getting married here? No grand weddings?”
“Who has time for a grand wedding?” Kit asked. “I’m ready to pop out kids and do the damn thing.”
Everyone laughed at that, me included. “Point taken.”
“We’re not all getting married here, but we’d really love it if you could come to our weddings when the time comes,” Zara clarified. “It would mean so much to us.”
Glancing at each couple, there was no way that I could say no, even if I wanted to, which I didn’t. “Absolutely,” I promised.
After a bunch of hugs, introductions, promises, and laughter, the group of sixteen went on their way, and watching them go, this was why I considered my gifts a blessing and not a curse.
