Shit…

Looking at Kit Vicious, you’d never think that she was into dirty talk, rough quickies, or anal sex, but if her book was semi-autobiographical, then she was into all those things, and she was doing them with a neighbor that she had described to my exact likeness. Granted, she had added an extra inch to her hero’s dick, but I knew that my eight inches could get the job done.

Any way that she fucking wanted it.

When my phone rang, I seriously thought of ignoring it, but with the Easter egg hunt happening tomorrow, it could be St. Mary’s, and a hard dick wasn’t reason enough to ignore their call. However, when I grabbed my phone, I saw that it was Racer, and a hard dick wasn’t reason enough to ignore his calls, either.

“Hey, what’s up?”

“What’s wrong,” Racer asked. “You sound weird.”

Unlike a lot of big brothers, mine weren’t assholes. Racer and Quinten had always been good guys that had grown into good men, and if anyone could help me, it was one of them. So, I quickly rushed out the events of the past few hours, and when I was done, Racer was laughing at me.

“This isn’t fucking funny, Racer,” I bit out.

“Oh, it is,” he replied. “Easter at Mom and Dad’s just got more interesting.” We always celebrated the holidays at our parents’ house, both Racer and Quinten bringing their families. Racer had a wife and two kids, and Quinten had a wife and three kids, plus a dog that they took everywhere with them.

“Can you focus?” I drawled out. “I’m not sure what to do here.”

“Isn’t it obvious?” he snorted. “Skip everything that’s not a sex scene, then go over to Kit’s and roleplay the fuck out of her book.” My brothers and their families had all met Kit before, and even visited with her when they stopped by.

“It could be strictly coincidence,” I pointed out reluctantly.

“Coincidence that the hero in her book is six-foot-three, has blonde hair and green eyes, but also lives on a horse ranch?” he asked drolly. “C’mon, Lucas.”

“Do you have any idea how awful things could get if I’m wrong?”

“Yeah, but imagine how incredible things could be if you’re right,” he countered. “Besides, you’ve been lusting after Kit long enough, don’t you think? Dude, do something about it already.”

“She’s myneighbor,Racer,” I stressed. “If things go badly-”

“They won’t,” he assured me. “And even if they did, your property lines are wide enough to be able to avoid each other. Your biggest issue would be Lawrence’s custody arrangements.”

He wasn’t wrong.

“So…just go over there and…”

“Finish reading the sexy parts, get a good idea of what she likes, then go over there and show her that you’re not always the good guy,” he suggested, and I just chuckled. “Also, make sure you get an advanced copy for my wife. Nothing horns her up like a good, explicit, dirty book.”

“I didn’t need to know that about Amy,” I replied, wishing that he respected boundaries.

Ignoring me, he said, “Go do your thing, Lucas. I’m going to go call Quinten and tell him that you’re finally doing something about Kit.”

“You guys are worse than gossipy old women.”

“Yeah, well just wait until we tell Mom that you’re finally making a move on Kit,” he laughed.

“Goddamn it, Race-”

The fucker hung up on me.

Setting my phone down, I got back to reading Ranching Done Right, and instead of reading each page like I had been, I decided to follow Racer’s advice and skip straight to the sex scenes. An hour later, I was hard as a rock, and absolutely convinced that this book was about me and Kit. There’s no way that it couldn’t be.

After all, the rancher had a goat named Lawson.
