Him.
She had been missing him, this—the perfection of their fit, the strength of him in the core of her.
Moaning, her mind spiraled inward, focused on every way she could feel him, until her inner muscles began pulsing and twitching again.
“Miri,” he groaned, his body taut and still as she shuddered around him.
But she couldn’t help it; the tide within her rose steadily once again and she could only drift out with it.
And then he began to move, slowly at first, and then with greater speed and depth, until again she dissolved into a million tiny pieces.
And once again, he rocked her steadily through the process of the pieces coming back together, stuttering only when she came back to herself completely on a sigh of, “Benjamin.”
His name was both gratitude and awe in her mouth, and as she finished it, his fingers gripped deep into her hips as he thrust one last time before shuddering in the same way.
They remained joined, motionless, while their breath returned, and aftershocks twitched through his body and into hers.
And then he slowly pulled out, allowing her to collapse on the ground and him to lower himself to her side, his eyes swirling as they took her in.
“You’re beautiful, Miri,” he said as she snuggled into him.
“You’re a sex god,” she mumbled into his chest as she nuzzled him, mildly aware of the fact that she was naked while he still wore his clothes.
Chuckling again, he said, “You of all people should be clear on the fact that Jews are monotheistic.”
Her laughter muffled by their snuggle, she smiled into his chest, filled with a warmth that had nothing to do with the fire and everything to do with feeling free in a way she never had before.
“We should move,” he said, adjusting his arm to be more comfortable for her.
Still smiling, she nuzzled in. “No way. I’m not going to my room when you’re right here.”
Drawing her closer, there was a smile in his voice when he responded. “Of course you’re not. I was talking about my room, where I envisioned we would freshen up before exploring further...”
Even as his words thrilled her, a shadow of apprehension clouded her face. “But just until the storm passes,” she said.
His arm tightened around her at her words, though he agreed, “Anything we want, but just until the storm passes.”
And for the first time since it had blown in, Miri didn’t want it to.
