Amos huffs out a laugh before he rolls me on top of him.
“Let’s see if we can do better,” he says as his lips claim mine once more.
TWELVE
Amos
I can’t believethat it’s already Friday. The week flew by and I know that it’s because I was with Camden.
We’re curled up in bed together, her back to my front, and I wrap my arm around her middle, pulling her back tighter against me. We just got done making love and Camden passed out after the last orgasm, so I laid in bed with her, napping and enjoying being close to her.
My stomach growls and I kiss Camden’s shoulder, tucking the blankets around her tight before I crawl out of bed and head into the kitchen. I’m going to surprise her with a home-cooked meal and then we need to talk.
She’s supposed to leave super early tomorrow morning. She’ll need to wake up at like one in the morning to make it to the airport for her flight, but we’ve been avoiding talking about any of that. I’ve been too afraid to bring it up. I’d rather live in my own little world where it’s just Camden and me in this cabin and there’s no job or apartment that she has to go back to.
That’s been working out alright for the last few days, but now that it’s the end of the week, I know that our little bubble has to be popped.
I grab the steaks that we bought yesterday when we went to the store and set them out. I grab the sweet potatoes and broccoli too and get everything lined up on the kitchen counter.
I’ve cut up the sweet potatoes and they’re roasting in the oven when Camden walks into the kitchen wearing one of my shirts.
“You’re torturing me,” I groan when I see her, and she laughs as she saunters over to my side.
“It smells good in here,” she says as she rests her hands on my bare chest.
“You smell better,” I whisper huskily as I grip her thick thighs and lift her up onto the kitchen counter.
As soon as we’re eye to eye, I wrap my hand around the back of her neck and pull her toward me until our lips meet.
Kissing Camden is the best thing in the world. I love feeling her lips pressed against mine, hearing her breathy moans as we make out like horny teenagers.
Camden’s breasts are smashed against my chest, and I groan against her lips. Her lips part for me when my tongue slips along the seam of her mouth. I can’t help but deepen the kiss as her tongue starts to tangle with mine.
“Amos,” she breathes, my name nothing but a whisper against my lips.
I thread my fingers into her dark hair and she grips my shirt as our lips meet once more. I can’t get enough of her and I pull her tighter against me, crushing our bodies together. I never want anything between us.
She moans and my cock reacts, hardening behind my jean zipper. Her kiss tastes like longing and desire. I can’t get enough.
I nibble at her bottom lip until she opens for me and I waste no time swiping my tongue against hers. She parts her legs wider, giving me more room to press against her, and we both groan as my cock brushes against her core.
I can’t kiss her for nearly as long as I’d like. Not unless I want to burn our dinner, so I pull back and drop a kiss on her nose.
“Dinner is almost done.”
“I’ll set the table,” she says, hopping down from the counter and I wrap my hand around her waist, pulling her into me so that I can drop one more kiss on her lips.
Camden tsks as she pulls away from me, giving me a mischievous smirk.
“Can’t keep your hands to yourself?” she asks and I grin.
“Not when you’re around and looking so damn hot.”
She smiles, loving my attention, and I turn back to the stove, adding the steaks to the cast iron pan. They sizzle as they hit the pan, and I check on the potatoes and stick the bowl of broccoli into the microwave.
Camden finishes setting the table and I pass her the broccoli to put on the table. I flip the steaks over as the oven goes off and I grab the potatoes, putting them in another bowl. Camden takes that and I want to ask her what her plans are, but decide against it. It will be better to have this conversation once we’re sitting down.
The steaks are done and as I plate them, she pours us each a glass of merlot and lights one of the candles from the other night.
