I growled, pulling the Suburban into the first spot I could find at the terminal. There were a lot of passengers, but no woman and child.

“Right there!” Tina shouted from the back, startling me. “She’s squatting down talking to a little girl.”

“If you say so.” I got out of the cage and went around.

Sugar jumped out of the vehicle. “I’ll come with you. You’re likely to scare her away.”

Fantastic. Just what I needed, Sugar getting involved.

The child’s face brightened when she saw me. Her reaction made the lady peer over her shoulder. She looked me over with a critical brow from my biker boots up to my face. I didn’t have my cut on, having taken it off at the nursing home earlier.

I stopped a couple feet back. “Unknown texter, right?”

The woman stood. To my surprise, she was taller than she appeared when squatting. I kept myself from checking her out as I usually would when meeting a pretty lady. And this woman was, in fact, pretty… and curvy and…

No, Lynx. Stop.

This was a service call, a Minnesota Nice gesture. I was only helping someone stranded. Nothing more.Absolutely nothing more.

Unfortunately, her perfume couldn’t be avoided. Dammit, she smelled good. Hints of vanilla and a soft musk danced in the air surrounding her.

I plastered a scowl on my face, reminding myself this was aservice call.

“I guess so,” she replied with uncertainty in her voice.

“Hi, I’m Eve.” Sugar put her hand out. When meeting someone outside the club, she used her real name.

“Hi.” Mystery woman shook Sugar’s hand but didn’t give her name. “I appreciate the lift.”

Sugar smiled, waving to the little girl. “It’s our pleasure.”

The kid was a cutie with a noticeable glint of curiosity in her eyes.

Stop it, Lynx.

I grabbed the two suitcases. “Then let’s get on with it. Airport security will be up my ass for lingering at the pickup curb.”

The little girl giggled, staring at me. Too stinkin’ adorable.

“Language, please.” Her mother shot me a stern look. “I also have my daughter’s car seat.”

“I’ll carry it,” Sugar offered.

I stalked to the cage, jerking my chin for Ryder to help me. There wasn’t room in the back for the luggage, so we needed to secure it to the rack on top.

After grabbing some bungee cords, I stopped hard when I came around to the passenger side. The finest piece of ass caught my attention as the woman leaned inside the cage.

Somebody, please poke me in the eyes. Make it hurt. Blind me.

Her black leggings were like a second skin wrapped around her plump ass cheeks.

I exhaled a deep breath, squeezing my eyes shut.

“Is there a problem?” she shouted over her shoulder in an annoyed tone.

“Just waiting for you to finish with the car seat.” I found her looking at me when I opened my eyes.

The little peanut giggled again with her hand covering her mouth.
