‘Who?’
‘It’s in the Musée D’Orsay in Paris. I’ll show you sometime,’ a wicked grin appears out of nowhere before she takes me once more into her mouth with renewed vigour. I reach down and pull the towel that’s hiding her beautiful body from my eyes. Watching her like this is my every fantasy come to fruition. Her hot, slick mouth ravages my cock and I grip her behind her head, pressing myself into her mouth until my whole body jerks and I groan long and deep.
Wiping the corner of her mouth, Leyna says, ‘I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to look at those paintings the same ever again.’
I lay down on the floor beside her, my body spent, and I hold her a few moments in complete silence.
‘Actually, this isn’t why I came here to see you,’ Leyna says.
‘I think it’s a very good reason to surprise someone.’
‘I came here to ask you out to lunch.’
‘You know I love to watch you eat,’ I say, unable to stop myself.
Her eyes darken. ‘I love to watch you watching me. But that’s not why I’m here. I’m not asking you to lunch. I’m here to tell you that you are going to meet me for lunch. Tomorrow.’
‘Tomorrow?’ I repeat slowly. When I look at her and I realise the implications of what she’s suggesting my body stiffens. It’s like a bucket of ice-cold water has been poured over my head. ‘What?’
‘You are going to bring your lunch to the Botanic Gardens tomorrow and you are going to wait for me.’
‘Leyna... It’s only up the hill from the department... Do you think it’s wise? Anyone could see us there.’
‘I thought you said you liked flowers?’ she asks innocently.
‘I believe what I said was that I likedyourflower.’
Leyna squeals. ‘In that case, the Botanic Gardens is perfect. We can sit someplace secluded, surrounded by herbaceous plants and brightly coloured flowers with a strictly no-touch policy, and you’ll be constantly reminded of the one flower you can’t have.’
‘That’ll be a first for us then,’ I laugh.
Ignoring me she says, ‘Don’t you love that feeling of wanting something you can’t have—at least temporarily.’ She grins. ‘But if you’re good, I’ll let you pot your flower later.’
‘I love your liberal use of garden euphemisms. You’d get on great with my buddy, Iain. He’s become a shrubbery and bush enthusiast of late.’
‘What?’
‘Long story. I think you were put on this earth just to tempt me into oblivion.’
‘Anything is possible. And besides, any words can become innuendo—if the listener’s mind is tempted enough to see them in that light.’
‘Wait a second. You’re sayingmymind is in the gutter, Miss You-Can-Pot-My-Flower-Any-Time-You-Like?!’
‘Oooh, the English Professor is talking dirty! I love it. Go on, Professor, throw a little Shakespeare into the mix and I might just lose it!’ I let her laugh at me, surprised at how much I enjoy her teasing. The sweet sound of her voice wraps itself around my heart, clenching and twisting and it pains me to even think about not being able to hear it forever. My God, I love this woman.
It’s as though I’ve been jerked back to reality. Where did that come from? My own thoughts and emotions take me by surprise. I’ve never truly felt that way about anyone, but I don’t say anything and Leyna doesn’t notice.
‘This is going to be so much fun,’ Leyna is clearly already thinking about our lunch date. ‘Do you know where the glass greenhouses are?’ she asks.
I nod.
‘Walk through the assemblage of greenhouses until you can’t go any further. Through the arid desert with all the cacti and then through the room with the insects in glass cases. The next room is big with a giant water lily in the centre. There’s an alcove to the left of that with a bench hidden amongst some of the plants. I’ll be there waiting for you.’
‘In secret,’ I say quietly, the corners of my lips tugging upward.
‘Exactly. A secret rendezvous. I like secret things. Secret dates. Secret hiding spots. Secret boyfriends...’ she kisses me, her teeth nipping my lower lip. Teasing. Always teasing. I deepen the kiss, sweeping my tongue into the soft, wet contours of her mouth. My cock stirs, hardening once again. Leyna continues, ‘Because secrets always run the risk of being found out and that’s what makes them so exciting.’
