“You’re gonna tire before I do, baby. Better give up now.”
I try pushing my hips up again and he tightens his grip on my wrists. “If you keep humping me, I’m gonna have to fuck you. I can only resist for so long,” he lowers his mouth close to mine, “and I don’t think you’ll like it. I’m rough.”
His breath burns my lips and all the way inside my body until it reaches my lower belly. His words have a one-way effect on me. A wave of warmth crashes between my legs and I stop moving. My inner thighs clench automatically while the rest of my body freezes. He sits back up.
“Now.” His face turns grave and I know nothing good is coming. He releases my wrists, knowing full well I won’t move after his threats.
“What do you want?” I growl.
“Less attitude and more answers. Where’s the burner phone?”
My heart sinks and panic overtakes me again. I try to push him away again. “Get off, Jake. Get off me and get out of my house!”
“Answer my question.”
“My mom will be home any minute now, go away.”
He pushes my hands away and grabs my jaw tightly. I can barely refrain a whimper and freeze in place.
“Your mom is in Tennessee.”
My eyes widen at the revelation. How does he know?
“The phone, Angel. Where is it?”
I shake my head in negation. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
He lets out a sarcastic chuckle. “Jamie, Jamie, Jamie. What am I gonna do with you?” He shakes my head lazily as he repeats my name. “How many warnings can I give before I start acting on my words, huh?”
A freezing chill crosses my whole body and I tremble under his hands. My brain is screaming at me:he’s a psychopath! That must be it. How can someone be such a golden boy in front of everyone else and break into my house after school?
“You don’t have to act on anything, I have no idea what you want,” I lie.
“You know what the problem is with good girls like yourself?” He waits for a second to see if I’ll reply and keeps going. “You’re terrible liars.”
“I – I’m not lying.”
He sighs like this is only a mild inconvenience to him. I’m just a little bump on his way to retrieving the phone and he didn’t want to act on his words but clearly the stupid girl in front of him is forcing him to.
What if he kills me?
He finally gets off me and I jump on the occasion to get up. I try to make a run for my phone on the counter, but he quickly grabs me by the back of my neck.
“Tsk, tsk. Not so fast. We’re not done.”
A shiver runs through me at his touch and he drags me with him to my room.
“I hope you’re aware this is a home invasion. You can get in a lot of trouble for this. Leave now and I won’t tell a single soul.”
“Aw, how sweet.”
“Jake if you don’t leave now, Iwilltake this to the police as soon as I’m alone again.”
He laughs as he pushes me into my bedroom. I land face down on the bed but quickly turn around.
“Who said you’re gonna be alone again? You’re a liar and a thief. Clearly my threats didn’t affect you one bit. Maybe I’ll keep you close to me from now on. You can be my personal little pet.” He says this so naturally I’m actually starting to believe he lacks any sort of feelings.
He starts looking through the mess on my bedside table. “Where is it? I don’t have all night. It’s Chris’ birthday tonight and I’m not missing his party because some stupid bitch decided to turn into a spy kid.”
