“Perfect.”
“You look a little… frustrated.” Her hand glided over the top of the comforter to rest over my cock, the devil alive in her eyes.
It was a side of her I could only have fantasized about seeing, and now, having it here with me… fuck, I only had so much control.
“Hannah…” I croaked. “Careful, otherwise you’re about to lose another hour to me being buried between your legs.”
“You think that’s a loss for me?”
I growled and turned toward her, only for her entire body to tense in my grip before she bolted upright, clutching the white comforter to her breasts as though I hadn’t spent the entire night feasting on them. “Wait! What time is it?”
“I don’t know—”
“Shit,” she hissed, jumping from the bed, naked, and scrambling around in the pockets of her leather jacket until she found her phone. One look at the screen and her body deflated, her eyes closing as she pressed a hand to her chest. “Oh, thank God. It’s still early.”
I scowled, waiting, and she slowly turned to see me with an amused smile on my face as I checked out every inch of her naked body in the daylight. Her slightly tanned skin, her taut muscles, toned arms, full breasts, and flat stomach you would never have known had carried a baby…
The sight of her made me groan to myself. “Aw, hell.”
Her eyes followed mine, a smile of her own coming to life as she raised a brow at me. “Stop checking me out.”
“Can’t. Sorry.”
“Logan,” she cried before slipping back under the comforter, her phone still in her hand as she propped herself beneath my arm, the screen hovering above both our faces now. “Control yourself a moment.”
“You’re the one who got me all riled up,” I said as she checked her messages and scrolled through her call log. “Everything okay?”
“Just making sure I haven’t missed anything from Bella.”
“Have you?”
“No. Not that I expected to, but the worry never stops when you’re away from your child. She stayed at Liv’s last night. After spending so much time with me lately, she asked if she could go for a sleepover at her place. I think she needed some room from her overbearing mom.”
“You’re not overbearing.”
“You’re not my daughter.”
“Well,” I groaned, moving us both around until we lay on our sides, staring at each other. “I’m glad she decided she needed a break from you. Otherwise I wouldn’t be waking up to this right now, and that would suck.”
Hannah traced a finger down my cheek, over my stubble. “I like this side of you. Seeing you all playful without that worried look on your face all the time. I used to think you were scared of me. Either that or you weren’t interested. You always seemed so…held back. But seeing the way you’ve been since last night… you’re like a different person.”
She couldn’t stop touching me, her phone long gone now, lost somewhere in the bedding as her hands ran up and down my chest and stomach, tracing the ridges and softer parts as though she was committing it all to memory for life.
“I like both sides of you. The one who made me feel so calm and the one who gets me worked up and begging you to ruin me,” she admitted quietly.
“Which version do you want this morning?” I trailed the back of my hand down her already-blushing cheek.
“Both.”
My amused smile was lazy, and I leaned in to kiss her again, only for her to press her hand firmer against my chest, holding me inches away from her face.
“What’s wrong?”
“When I fall, I fall hard,” she warned. “I’ve been there before. I’ve done it. I’ve fallen. But you…” The unspokenhaven’thit me in the gut. “I just don’t want to be left alone again if this becomes too much for you down the line.”
“It won’t.”
“I’m a lot to take on, Logan. I have adaughter.”
