Page 103 of Whenever You Call

A man who wouldn’t ever take this for granted.

A man who made promises I had no doubt he would keep if I asked it of him.

And then everything vanished completely as Logan pushed himself all the way in, filling me up completely. My mouth fell slack, and my eyes widened at the intense feeling of him finally being inside me. His body connected with mine. His strength pressing down on me—in me. My body tingled with goosebumps, both a chill and heat rolling over my skin, colliding and fighting for dominance.

The noise Logan made before he pushed up and looked down on me—his hair hanging loose over his eyes—was nearly my second undoing. We stilled for a moment, staring at each other with our bodies tight and our lips parted.

But then he started to move.

Slow at first. So slow, it felt like a punishment.

His hips circled, and his dick hit every spot inside me, making me scrape my nails down the strong muscles of his arms, not caring if I caused him pain, only caring that all my senses were on overload, and it was all because of the man in my arms.

We never looked away from each other. Not as Logan picked up his pace. Not as the veins in his neck grew tighter or the breaths from his chest fell harder. We didn’t look away when my quiet gasps turned to desperate mewls, and we never faltered when Logan’s ass tensed, and he lost all sense of tenderness, pounding into me in a way that told me how deep his desire and need for me ran. As another orgasm built, I wasn’t even sure what it was from anymore—the way he commanded my body or the things Logan was doing to my heart.

But I did know one thing for certain.

When we’d built each other up into a frenzy, with nothing left behind and nothing else to give, I started to agree with everything Logan had said.

Forever didn’t seem so crazy anymore.

Not if every day could start and end like this.

Chapter39

LOGAN

Hannah laid beside me with her cheek against my chest, both of us panting for breath as I threw my arm around her shoulder and stared up at the ceiling. No matter how much I tried to cling to a coherent thought, I couldn’t grasp hold of anything. My brain had turned to mush, my body limp and muscles aching with overwhelming ecstasy as well as heart-crippling fear.

Sex with emotions hit differently, and if this was her goodbye, I wasn’t sure how the hell I’d ever recover to say hello to anyone ever again. Nobody would ever compare now.

“Talk to me, Hannah,” I finally whispered as I ran my hand up and down her arm.

She sighed. “Well… your bed’s a little squeakier than I expected it to be.”

My laughter fell unexpectedly, my chest bouncing up and down, forcing her to look at me through satisfied, sleepy eyes and those beautiful, long lashes.

“Sorry,” I said. “It’s been out of action for a little while.”

“Really?”

“Yes, really. What? You think I have women here all the time?”

“I… hadn’t really thought about it.”

“Good. Don’t.”

“But it would make sense if you did. I mean… look at you.” She gestured to my body. “You’re kinda hot, Logan.”

“Just kinda?”

“Oh, come on. You’re seriously hot, and you know it.” She smirked.

“I’ll take your word for it. Your opinion is the only one that matters. And don’t worry; I’ll have the bed fixed by morning.”

“You’d do that for me?”

“I’d do anything for you.”
